4 Cases of Multiplying Integers
Hello, welcome to today's video of the Bare Minimum Algebra (BMA) series. For today's video, I will go over integers in more details. Specifically, I will be talking about multiplying integers. While multiplication is supposedly a more complex operation, these 4 cases are quite simple to remember. In basic examples, I will go over these different cases.
Case 1: Both numbers are positive
Case 2: Both numbers are negative
Case 3: 1 number is positive, 1 number is negative
Case 4: At least number is 0
The key to multiplying integers is remembering the sign. Multiplying the integer is normal but keep in mind the signs.
An easy way to remember the signs is this:
A friend of a friend is a friend. (+ •...
