2015 Buick Verano Parking Brake Service Mode

This is a a how to on putting a 2015 Buick Verano into parking brake service mode so you can complete a rear brake job. This will release tension on the parking brake cable that way you can turn the caliper pistons back.
How To Lift 4Runner With KDSS from Home

Installing lift on my 5th gen 4runner with KDSS. Lifting your 4Runner increases ground clearance, room for larger tires and it just looks good. Bilstein 5100 in the rear with additional weight springs.
Do you happen to recall what position you set the 6112s at?
Awesome video, when you say two turns on the KDSS valves do you mean 2 full rotations or just 2 socket turns ?
Might be worth hitting it with a hose or swinging by the car wash so you don’t have to fight the dirt, too…
How do you like them? I was looking at swapping out the shite factory sidesteps for 20 degree rocksliders from RCI. I may find it in the description after I post this, but are these bolt-on?
Brake works great just light on dash comes & goes
I think mine has loose fuse or light
Why does parking brake light go off & on?
Have you been able to use them as a step as well?
What wheels are those?
When you say "additional weight springs" what spring is that exactly? Did you buy a kit?
I recently lifted my Lexus gx and it has the same kdss system. I now have a slight lean towards the passenger side possibly because i didn't open the valves. Yes im an idiot.. Its not that noticeable but its maybe about a half inch higher on the front and rear drivers side. How do i fix the lean? Would opening the valves and lifting the vehicle up then dropping the vehicle down and rocking back and fourth so it equalizes the hydraulic fluid fix the lean? Do you have any suggestions? I am also running the DR KDSS spacers and brackets but still leaning.
Pas. Side KDSS lean is very common. You can loosen the shutter valves and then just lift the pass side up and put pressure all on the driver's side. Then drop it and close up the shutter valves. I have seen about a 1/2" gain in the front from it. If it works then great, but otherwise adding a 1/4" thick lean spacer is a more perm solution. Plus using a spacer from the rear from cornfed spacers. When the lift is installed a true KDSS recalibration is done by lifting all 4 corners off the ground.
Tried on my 2017 light will go on but as soon as I release the EPB light goes off

Running on stock upper control arms still. Rides good, no contact with springs and alignment is good!

I’m about to lift my 2012 4Runner Trail with KDSS using Bilstein 6112 & 5160. I’m planning on lifting it 2” in front and 1” in the rear, so it’s level. Just wanted to ask you before I do, will I require the KDSS spacers? And I see you did 2.3” lift in front, what was the lift height for your rear coil springs…1”?
You’ll be alright unless you plan on off roading, when you flex the pan hard bar will contact the KDSS sway bar in the rear
@@jdsmechanical Its my goal to make sure everyone says Panhard correctly or just call it a track bar. It's pronounced Pa-nar, it's French and named after the man who created it, Louis François René Panhard. Great video, and get yourself a head mount go pro and make things easier on you :) Bravo to the one handed install !

Did you need to use a KDSS spacer anywhere after the lift to equalize the lean or was there no issues ?
I second this question. Still waiting on my dobinsons to come in, but I bought the DR KDSS bushing bracket, billet clamps and end adapters for when I out on the lift.
I have yet to install spacers on mine. It does ride a bit firm without, and the rear track arm will make contact with the sway bar on full flex offroad. I have spacers for the rear, I will do an install video on those soon!

you can release the pressure on the kdss system, you just cant release it all the way or els you would need to bleed it. makes everything 10x easier. more movement
What is the rate of these front springs, 650lbs or 700lbs?
These are the Bilstein 6112 additional weight springs for 150-200lbs more

Those are BudBuilt overland series skid plates
@jdsmechanical do they hit the KDSS bar? I have a KDSS version of the Pro skid plate but it still hits a bit.
