I did find that video of those two hacks and watched 30 seconds of it. That was 30 seconds too long and those two guys have no idea what they are getting themselves into. Mario is just plain awesome and love listening to his stories. I watched the Piers Morgan video. The Russo-Mushnick shouting match was pretty funny: "Don't call me 'bro', Bro" 😆. Love this show. Keep up the good work.

I remembered when Paul and Arn were WCW tag champs. Very good team, great styles contrast. I didnt mind Alex Wright, but it was a little to early for him to be beating Roma at that time, a little more seasoning. Wish Paul stayed long enough to be around for WCW 's boom petiod, Nitro and nWo. Jim Powers came around in 96 so who knows, an older version of the Stallions fqcing some newer/younger talent could've been good who knows. Great podcast

I will have to correct you Emir, Russo clearly stated when it came to Vince McMahon specifically - he never wrote romantic angles for him. He never was asked nor discussed other adult characters he did write for like Sable,Val Venis etc. I think an apology to Vince Russo is in order. Russo has never defended McMahon outside of saying the man is pressumed innocent until proven guilty. I'll refer you to a podcast Russo recently did with Mario's good friend Lee Cole for clarification. Cheers!

Met Paul at for the love of wrestling. Still in great shape and an obviously naturally gifted athlete. Power And Glory were on my first WWF UK tour in 91, vs The Rockers. I really enjoyed Paul in WCW 93. Wow Jim Powers as well. I need some Ultimate Warrior stores, have a feeling Jim and Paul must have spent time working out with Warrior

With all this talk of invisible men in The sky and McMahon having the Irish mob take people out if you cross him, i feel like I’m watching a 1961 episode of the twilight zone starring Jack klugman. Besides all that there is interesting insight here. Can’t complain too much.

Great show. No doubt Tom Zenk quitting sped up the push of The Young Stallions. Powers and Roma did team in the Spring of 1987 without the Stallions name on small shows mostly in the northeast. Then they are on TV getting pushed. Then they randomly aren't used on a set of tv tapings in California then get pushed on television again. Odd. IIRC Vince brought in The Rockers for one set if tapings during this time and fired them just as fast. I think Vince should have stuck with The Young Stallions instead of pushing Tito and Martel but he had to find a role for them. WWF needed a team like The Young Stallions like southern territories needed Rock and Roll Express looking guys.

All of these massive wrestling superstars doing their own podcasts, from Flair to Kurt Angle to the Undertaker but Mario Mancini is a more interesting storyteller than all of them put together.
