Melbourne's Painters and Dockers perform the song 'Bad' at the Comet Ball in March of 1986. This track comes from the B side of the 'Nude School" 12" single.
Genial esta canción 🔥
Thank God for Citadel, hey Australia? Got to be support in Brisbane (Atcherley Hotel? - can't remember now)
The early '80s inner pub '60s garage scene gradually left the brash gothic, pycho billy and went to sincere indie, alt rock thang before fading as dance music finally took all the girls away. This lot were right at the beginning of that latter stage. I loved those big mid-60s 'For your love' harmonies.
Lyrics ?
Lyrics anyone?
The best band
Australia you really fucked up by letting these guys fall away.
The same goes for Celibate Rifles (e.g. Pretty Pictures).
well what more can I say!!!
Will someone put up girl from Mossad.
Saw them at the Petersham Inn-Max’s 1989 one of the best gigs ever. Innnnnntoxicaaaaa!
Saw them many times live...back in the day of $5.00 entry fee! Mike Dalton now channel Nine reporter. Can't get my head around it.
Really timeless. Wonderful.

Still have it too. Well done. A treasure.
I still have it too. Love this 45. When I first started deejaying in college at the radio station, this was in the “new” bin, and it brings back such great memories of a fun time. Awesome song.
First live band I ever saw in the mid 90's and seen them many times since.

Singer was bill legget.
Well, this song stumped Shazam. I like it, but Shazam is all "we didn't quite catch that."
eydie sanders Shazam is dumb as fuck
If I had a dollar for every time I saw them and bought a beer at their shows I'd have many many. Just wish the tracks were easier to find

Brought back great memories of many pub nights watching this awesome band.
Cannot get my head around that this gem is nearly 30 years old yet still sounds so timeless
@COUSINCAT Luckily we got to see them. Fun times.
True dat, mots ;-))
The Trilobites were an amazing Aussie indie band who never got their due; (particularly compared to other better known - but often lesser talented - contemporaries from the late 80s period). SUCH A FUCKING SHAME!
