There was a time maybe between 2003-2007 where Anton looked like he was going to be the real deal. He broke into the first team when he was about 17/18 in those two years West Ham got relegated and was really good. Then when they get promoted he was still really good and young and a starter on a Premier League club. Then he signed for Sunderland for 8 million which was big money at the time. And then it was all downhill. I'd have put money on it during his first couple of years in the Prem when he was about 20/21 that he was going to play at least one game for England with his brother he was that good. One of the best young defender in the Prem easily.

Dwain is good on podcasts and always worth a listen. However, the interviewer could have done much better. He lost focus and could have gone deeper into some of the most insightful points. Also, for goodness sake, eat before recording. Eating and talking is not very professional.
