On July 5th, Searchlite Studios hosted a small event for July 4th by running their fictional bicentennial units on Sand Patch, including N&W 1776. It was nice to see the different patterns and hear the horns of each locomotive.

Footage taken on May 18th, 2024 Day 2 of railfanning the Piney Pigtail. On May 18th, the Servicemen Limited ran on the CSAO route nicknamed the Piney Pigtail. It ran to the main ASL station (I forgot the name for it) where CSX 3194 was waiting for the Servicemen Limited. Judging by the name of this excursion and the events going on at the station, this was an event honoring our first responders...

If I recall, HV-15 was the train carrying 3194 and HV-43 was the train with the CSX GP40-2 leading.
