Which echo unit do you use?

Im 77 but loved the the shadows, and played their songs since i was 10 year's old,i loved their music,and still play it now, seen them playing live in hastings,they were fantastic

Brilliant cover. In fact I think I like it as much as the Shadows. When I was 16 in 1968 every Friday night at the Locarno club in Sunderland this would be played as the last song. I’m right back there when I hear it. Very happy times, sadly never to return.

Excellent rendition. Congratulations ! I love your drummer ! Having listened to every note of the original recording since 1960, and having played in a cover Shadows band in the 60's-( I have covered all guitar and bass parts ). I would like to add some practical suggestions- to only improve upon a "Nearly perfect" Shadows rendition. To the lead guitarist- When you play the "Gallop Part" -Only block the short notes part ( CF, CF, CF, CF). Play the long notes ( E A) - open - NO block. To the Bass player- As nice a job as you do, do yourself a favor and learn to play the "Exact" bass notes that Jet Harris plays. They are unique and you will be happy that you did- It will open your eyes and ears to Jet's "Out of the Box " style of bass playing , other than just -1,3,5 Bass notes). Jet actually played a "counter melody" -using bass notes. ( Example- At the start of the melody , the 2nd chord of the melody ( D major)- playing bass against the D major chord , Jet plays- the notes- F#>F and then goes to E ( against the Am chord ). He added a " unique color" to the Shadows that none of the following bass players ( who were very fine players ) -did - IMHO ! In summation- BRAVO !
