I have a question about mri In T1 postcontrast, can ICA and basilar artery show enhancement in normal patient or it must be flow void?
It's technique dependent for post gad. Look for flow voids more on the pre-gad FSE T1 or T2. For post gad if you are doing a 3D gradient type T1, then the vessels typically enhance if you are scanning right away. If you're doing a post gad FSE T1, then they may or may not enhance depending on how fast the flow is, how quickly you scan after contrast, and other technical factors.
Mary Wyers thanks very much.
Very good presentation, Thank you.
