What wick fits these I would like a spare
My Aladdin is a series 39 model BF3911, so it should take the 16LP wick :)
Wait, were u snowboarding in jeans ? 🥶 Btw going solo in hirafu this early-mid january 😍 cant wait!!
Seems like jeans, but it's actually GORE-TEX. Seriously love it! Sometimes I ride in jeans during spring, though 😊 Enjoy Niseko!
are they safe for indoors
There are a couple of safety tips for kerosene heaters, but they’re good for indoor and outdoor use :) Kerosene heaters don’t require electricity in case of a disaster.
wonderful to watch . my mill is on the way !😊
Thank you for watching! Enjoy your coffee ☕
beautiful temple 😍 nice 👍
Thank you 😊
Pottery is beginning to feel like my special place.
That's great to hear! Pottery is such a wonderful activity :)
These look great! How much clay did you throw with for each dish?
I didn't weigh the clay, but I think 500 grams would be enough to start. It may be a lot for some people, and it depends on the height of the foot ring, the trimming needed, and the skill level. Finished size: 10×4 cm, weight: 160-170 grams :)
The bowls look gorgeous. I can't find the glaze on the internet. Can you help me? 🙏
@@pipilotta2008 Not sure if you'll find it on an English website :( but the glazes I used are 蕎麦釉 (そば釉) (Soba glaze) and 白萩釉 (Shirahagi glaze) in Japanese. Soba glaze usually has a more yellowish tone but this time it turned out more brownish.
Thank you so much for your answer. I have searched the internet but have not been able to find it on the western market. Will look for something similar. Thank you and best wishes! 🙏
Those are *the* oiliest beans I have ever seen in my life
Some people are surprised that I used French roast or some may think it's an old bean 🤔
We’re I can got this simple one press button
I need to book my next vacation there. Thx for sharing! ❤
I miss Taiwan already. Enjoy your stay 😊
Ah such a beautiful place Japan in the snow! The more I see the more I want to visit. I work as a chef but I often see our barista staff making magic with coffee foam, so have fun with your latte art 😊
Thank you for your comment! I'm always relieved to see the snowy scenery. truly love winter! Learning latte art is so much fun. I’ll keep practicing and keep drinking really good coffee at home :)
Hi! Such a great vlog. Really captures the essence of Japan. ❤ May I ask how you booked the ryokan? I’ve tried contacting them over the phone without luck :(
I made by phone because they were not on any booking websites.
May I know the brand of the phone strap?
BALES :)
Great video! Wonderful editing and shots. Thank you for making this!
Thanks for watching and leaving a nice comment!
Sapporo Snow Festival is always a must-stop place to go during the winter. That rabbit and the dragon, as well as other ones are always beautiful. Some of that mushroom soup at the stall during this winter is a must haha. Thank you so much for sharing the video. Take care! Warmest greetings from Brazil.
Thank you for your comment! Sapporo Snow Festival is one of the big attractions that Japan has to offer :) It was really cool! The international teams also did a great job!
The title should be "Niseko Food Trip plus snowboarding." 😂😂😂 Going to Japan tomorrow, 12-15 in Niseko. First time, looking forward to it.
"food trip" haha that's true 😂 You can eat a lot of delicious foods in Japan. Enjoy your stay!
'Promo sm' 🤣
Well made video! I like the speed-ramps.
Thanks for saying so! I really enjoyed shooting and editing this video :)

羊蹄山、カッコいいですね こんな所で滑れたら気分最高
コメントありがとうございます!雪は少なかったけどハイシーズンに羊蹄を見ながら滑れたのは幸運でした。
Very well made units mine is a S681U Equator II. Easy to change wick just rotate Counter-clockwise until tab up from latch then pull knob out to release wick holder collapse wick inwardly from pins reverse with new wick. It took me 2 tries to adjust wick height corectly 3/8inch exposed when fully to right knob
My Aladdin still has original wick. Changing the wick, which seems to be an interesting task :)
Can i got your email for asking about sapporo and niseko ? Thanks before..
Awesome video …. Which month was this? Looks like March/April season.
Mid-February :)
my cup could not stay lock on the porta, yours can or not
It’s not locked so tightly because just holds a shot glass by a rubber o-ring attached to the Aram.
It can't hold at all, the portafilter won't even grab the cup at all, the cup will fall if I pick up the portafilter. I understand it won't be very tight. @@slowliving55
In your video here, you are using hand to support the bottom of the cup when when picking up the portafilter, so it is not clear whether it is not suppose to hold the cup or it is actually holding the cup@@slowliving55
@@devilalwayscry My portafilter holds the shot glass even without any support. It seems very loose though.
At Jam Niseko, I thought it was a juice jar, but it was a Beer Jar hahaha, that got me. Thank you for the video, enjoy the winter and be careful not to get a cold. Greetings from Brazil. 🤗
love to hear that you enjoyed this video! All my friends were enjoying that beer 😊 Mine was a grapefruit sour, though haha
wow very nice experience friend
thank you :)
welcome@@slowliving55
This video deserves more views, the scenaries are beautiful.
Thanks for your positive comment!
@slowliving55 You're welcome. How did you manage to drive to all those places in one day? I'm looking to those areas in 1 day, but Tottori seems just too far out to do in 1 day unless I stay at a local hotel.
@@jeromebrown8253 We stayed in Tottori after visited the sand museum and the dunes. only went to Tottori because it was a good waypoint before Shimane prefecture. That was not a very relaxing plan but good experience for us.
Japans kachels
Where can I buy the Aladdin Heater please
In Japan, easy to find it. Aladdin web shop, Amazon Japan, Rakuten and so on. But all websites are in Japanese only :(
what is the name of the restaurant?
Magic Spice (in Sapporo): soup curry Mina Mina: now it's a bar JAM Niseko: reservation required! Green Farm Cafe The Day: coffee kiosk
Where did you get this stove? How can I get one like you have ?
In Japan, easy to find it online such as Aladdin web shop, Amazon Japan and Rakuten.
Awesome video!
Thank you!
What is the model number? I see same but no screens around
My Aladdin is series 39 model BF3911. And also BF3912 is available in Japan.
How does the wick cleaner work Sir ?? Does it use a angled cutter teeth or wire brush to clean the wick ?? Do they still make this blue flame heater ??? Great video for sure. Now all I have to do is find one !!!😶😶😶😶😶😶😶
Rotate the disk-like wick cleaner, black carbon will come through the three holes. That's enough for maintenance. The wick must be kept shaped at the correct angle so I just use the wick cleaner. Aladdin heaters are still sold today in Japan :)
Would you know how to do just that ??? I would really appreciate your knowledge Sir ant thanks too. vf@@slowliving55
Nice vlog! I was wondering, where do you put your snowboard boots while having lunch?
at the restaurant on the mountain? You don't have to take off your snowboard boots there. The last day after check out, we left our stuff at the guest house and went to lunch :)
I like the little yellow bowl very much. This made my morning slightly better.
Thank you for your comment! Have a great day!
Looks awesome!
Thank you for saying so!
Cappuccino e cornetto, top
Thank you for your comment!
I’m planning on doing a solo trip. But I’ve never snowboarded outside the U.S. Any tips?
If you just want to snowboard all day everyday, of course go to Niseko. Extremely English-friendly and famous for its powder snow. It's better to secure your accommodation as early as possible. You can also take a day trip from Sapporo. Rusutsu and Sapporo Kokusai are a great options that’s a little less crowded than Niseko. I hope you have a great time!
@@slowliving55 Thanks! I also heard places that don’t take credit card. Is it true?
@@PabloTheThinker Personally, though, I usually prefer using a credit card, Japan is still largely a cash-based society. Visa is fairly universal at major places in my experience. I recommend you to bring multiple types of cards and cash just in case.
@@PabloTheThinkerthey more or less transitioned to digital POS so it's more card friendly today than it was in 2016. i used my card for everything in niseko back in 2022
Y’s, hiya!,Bravo~ good recording!sleep well! 💪
Thank you!
Love your vlog, very calm and zen feeling!
Aww glad to hear that 🥰
Quality espresso: Aram or maybe pay a little more for a Gaggia Classic? ☕
I didn't know the Gaggia Classic so can't compare them... I'm very satisfied that I bought Aram. If I had to say, it's SUPER sensitive to what kind of grind quality is used :( It took me a while to find the right grind settings everytime I changed the type of beans. But no electricity required! Compact, good design and easy to carry :)
I have the Aram, prevously have a modded Gaggia Classic with PID. The Aram much much more better! They are not in the same league.
Aladdin heaters haven't changed much in 50 years. I maintained the wick to keep a blue flame but nothing near as good as your level of maintenance!
Thank you for your comment :) I love watching the blue flames dance and try to keep "my favorite" in good condition!
1 like 1 comment 😂🤗
Thank you!
how much does those komatsuna cost you in your country?
about 120-150 yen / 200g
@@slowliving55 that's much expensive than other mustard type veg right
@@asadullah6047 It has gone up in price compared with the past 😭
Oh, how cool!
My favorite kerosene heater :)
Pretty!
