Whenever I play maul and their is a blaster on the other team I only use his choke hold when finishing off some one like han or lando because if I do it while their close and then I push them away then they become a bigger threat because that means they can shot me from range while I cant touch them.

I can remember a time when Yoda was among the best around. I believe that was when he just got the ability to block lightsabers for the first time. They nerfed him too much.

I agree, Yoda's attack animations should be faster than Duelist Dooku and his animation for presence and Unleash should be faster so he doesn't get punished so easily. And just buff Presence to make it more like Vader's Focused rage where he can get extra stamina and a faster attack speed, or maybe a faster ability cooldown The Dash attack with that low damage would be fine

If y'all want to know the reason why the devs made him so slow, besides him being small with a shorter saber needing to flip for the same attack range ect.. Another big significant reason is if your look into the lore & different saber styles the heros use it will make more sense, all the heros stats are centered around them, like damage, attack speed, & stamina stats. Yoda is the master of form 4 which emphasizes acrobatics, jump attacks, ect.. thats why Yoda has a longer dash than Luke and can also block break. Hooks leave you vulnerable but Yodas tiny hitbox makes him hard to hit so hes one of the best for them. Look into the other heros & what forms they master. Kenobi form 3 the defensive master is why with both stamina cards he can block forever & has 'defensive' rush, Dooku form 2 centered on dueling so he has the best stamina, damage, attack speed, ect.. Luke, Ani, Kylo, are form 5 very overwhelming offensive, high damage, fast swings, more attack stamina, fastest running speeds, block breaker abilities, ect.. Lukes abilities & cards kind of show the influence of his masters like Jedi Fighter cards only supposed buff defense stamina like Obi-Wans style or him mastering form 4 like Kenobi taught Anakin or Lukes rush ability & its cards showing that mobility focus from Yodas training. Also interesting to look at the differences between Anakin & Vader after being crippled he needs a more defensive style so he takes elements from Obiwan & Dooku added to his own. Im passionate af about this cause back when the devs were still here, the jumpswings used to use a lot more stamina than normal attacks & the values were very random like Dooku had the most jumpatk stam & I remember on the Dice suggestion forms telling them to change the jump atk values & make it consistent to the lore saber styles & they deadass listened to me & changed it when they reworked the combat. Ain't the only time they listened to me too, I once posted vid proof that the Resourceful card & fool me once did not work at proper displayed values & they got fixed literally the next update. They probably listened to me cause back then I had some of the highest playtime on ps4 (i been liking battlefront since 2015 version) & most of that was on heros modes, and my account was linked to that Dice forum site

it isn’t even his animations alone, he’s worse when you play him in co op. literally every ai can damage him while he blocks… but other than that i wish his normal swings were much better and don’t leave you open to taking 1 hit or 2…
