Every year the popular woodworking channel Steve Ramsey joins a fundraiser for what is called "Makers Care". For every project that is photographed or videoed and sent to the website, he, will donate $5 to the Make a Wish Foundation. This year the theme is animals. I decided to make a dog pencil holder. I had some drawers that needed handles. So I made some.

A serving tray made out of reclaimed 2x4s.

3 cheese boards. 2 walnut with maple stripes and 1 maple with a walnut stripe. Not sure what happened to the last photos, sorry for that terrible quality.

I had found a bunch of very weathered pine 1x6. Used it to make a couple of birdhouses. Don't worry, I pounded all the nails in and took out the ones that pierced through the sides.

Here I make a simple crib board. I used 3/4" stock maple and scrap hardwood (I think some kind of mahogany). I found a hole template online, adjusted the template and then used that to drill the holes. Check out my website! www.sites.google.com/site/colbyswoodworking/
