So gt7 looks better. But, you don't buy a simracing game for the looks but the driving realism. And that's what Assetto Corsa its about

GT7 looks miles ahead of everything else, considering it runs only on a PS5. But Evo looks nice too.

This is a real comparison. At times GT is still looking and sounding better but to be fair AC is still in early access. Unlike FM, AC can be compared to GT because it's some real Next-Gen stuff.

Well, this is both wrong and right, normally the shadows are so blurred because they are thin grids, that it is almost impossible to see irl... but in Forza, it seems to just be bugged

Nowadays I get sad to see the details in Forza, in the headlights or brake lights... these are things that are so easy to do in Blender.

They both have ups and downs, but Forza still have that cartoonish arcade look at the end of the day.

the attention to detail is why I love gran turismo (even if it's not a 100% accurate sim)

tbf fm8 model is from 2011, it still holds up nicely today

BTW - many people threw so much hate on TDU Solar Crown and its visuals. Of course this game is not perfect in graphical terms (and really bad in most of other) - but looks MUCH, MUCH, MUCH, MUCH more natural and better overall than Forza Motorshit 2023. FM8 sets new low for tripple A games - in almost every term. One of the worst racing games ever - if we count only bigger titles - not including Big Rigs or something like that. Project Cars 3 - also is not perfect - but looks newer than Forza Motorsport 8. And PC3 is more fun in my opinion - great arcade driving model, surprisingly good engine sound, lot of interesting cars (in DLC or base) and includes actual racing machines in campaign! If someone wants arcadey track racer - pCars 3 is at least worth considering. Obviously this is not the same experience as GT or previous PCARS - but this doesn't mean that game is actually not fun.

I am almost 100% sure that Project Cars 3 have better model of this Nissan than Forza. Remember - pCARS 3 was released in 2020, Forza in 2023 :D And pCARS was not "Built from the ground up for the next generation of consoles"

Only thing about the gt7 one is in the gauge cluster the boost gauge doesn't work and it drives me crazy.

Both look good, but I would have to give the edge to Forza for better graphics, sounds, and damage model. Though the GT7 interior is more accurate as it shows the hud on the window and has a slightly higher detailed model.

The motor shake/torque twist in Forza is so bad. It doesn't correspond to the engine RPM at all. You can rev to 1500rpm and the motor will fully tilt as if you're flooring it under load. Go to the hood view in the ZR1 while cruising off throttle and the motor is shaking back and forth super dramatic. Everything in Forza is such a gimmick. Reminds me of the windshield wiper flap in Horizon where the wipers would flap from the wind at 3mph as if you were driving 200mph.

With the popularization of the scanning technology of the screen engine, small manufacturers will be able to easily create models of vehicles that surpass those of the GT7.

This is one of the few models which looks accurate in Forza Motorsport 8. Btw this is the first time seeing Gran Turismo 7 After the big update (I didn't have time to play it yet) and I gotta say these are some well invested 30 GB. The graphics look so much more accurate and the sense of speed is more believable. Amazing work.

People say the new Sunset Peninsula is trash but I disagree,and also,people say they miss the old sponsors,however,licensing exists,and it would be quite hard for Turn 10 to get the old sponsors back.

It's amazing that FM hasn't changed in the year since its release.
