Jesus fucking Christ, this is a blast from the past. I used to sneak downstairs at 3-4 in the morning and see this played religiously on Cartoon Network, along with all the other midnight adverts that are etched in your brain forever.
I used to see this advert all the time playing on CartoonNetwork when I was younger. So when I found this video recently on RUclips, I ended up actually downloading the entire album with all the songs that appear in the advert! I'll be getting married soon, so this album is quite fitting to listen to <3
i've got to be real with you all i propose we start a community of like-minded people. kind of like a church but not really to do with jesus or god. we just all get together in a church and belt out the two-minute medley of these power ballad choruses every sundy. or whenever, we can be flexible with times. please register interest below. i am in manchester but we can do this over zoom etc. at this difficult time. one love.
I used to wonder why Time Life products like this CD album were not available to buy in the shops, only available to order directly from Time Life.....

Bryan Flynn I remember that year. It was the year the 80’s Retro Revival thing began. They started showing 80’s films that year and showed 80’s music videos nonstop. Played Grand Theft Auto Vice City and it also got me interested in 80’s music

I managed to pick up a couple of the cd's Breathless & Heartbeat from Charity, they contain some classic track that live on forever
Even today I can't listen to that Peter Cetera song without expecting John Farnham to shout "You're the voice!" after each chorus.
