How To Get Rid Of Dust Mites - Top 5 Methods
Bro if allergy is only on nose does sleeping on back is better than sleeping on stomach and side if dust mites are the culprit? Done other mitigating works.
It’s going to be slightly better yes, I would also try taping your mouth at night
Bro I'm about to buy a mattress for my room and since i have dust mite allergy which material is best like latex, memory foam or any coir etc?? Pls reply i will also add protector but also want to reduce the concentration of mites by buying some material which is a little bit dust mite proof
It shouldn’t matter as long as you use a dust mite encasement
@DustMiteTreatment but the memory foam Will have more natural resistance
Bro does bamboo or silk cover get rid of dust mites completely?
No it will not, its will slightly help as it is breathable and high density normally. Encasement and dehumidifiers are better
Bro if i am having nasal allergies due to dust mites is it because it's touching my skin (any part) or solely because it's entering through nose and mouth?only if it enter the nose i will get symptoms? Should i tried taping my mouth to prevent involuntary opening of it when sleeping to get rid of nasal allergies?
I tape my mouth at night and find I sleep better, not 100% sure if it’s connected to a dust mite allergy. I would just try it
Bro if u have a dehumidifier like this then no need of encase or even clean the room right unless u bring in dust mites from outside and that's very rare right since it's quantities are negligible in outdoor
if you can keep humidity below 50% 24 hours a day and 7 days week that would be right. However when you sleep in your bed the humidty will be above 50% from your body heat / sweat.
Should i go with plastic cover or cotton cover which is better? Since plastic is easy to clean and wouldn't lose it's thickness while cleaning it's the best choice right?
the encasement (under sheets) should include a plastic layer as its dust mite proof. THe bedding on top can be cottton but you need to wash it at high heat 60+ degrees every 4-7 days
Bro pls help one doubt, if I'm having nasal allergies and breathing problems with dust mites, so i was thinking to buy mattress protector but most of the products i look are covering only the sleeping area is it ok for my condition or should i go for entire cover even the back side?
It 100% needs to cover ALL sides, the one you are looking at are not designed for dust mites (they are designed to protect mattress)
My uncle had been struggling with allergic rhinitis for years, but after using the natural solutions from IAFA Ayurveda, he found complete relief within just 3 months. The treatment helped him breathe easily and improved his quality of life.
Bro does back sleeping reduce my contact with dust mites because my symptoms are on the nose only and what i have noticed is when I'm stomach sleeping with my face on the pillow that's when the symptoms aggravate so should i deliberately try sleeping on back.
Bro does using my normal vacuum for pillow and mattress sucking helps removing dust mites which are on the surface as well as deep?it has some of the same features as the jimmy mattress vacuum cleaner
No your only suck out the mites on the surface with a vacumn, most will be able to escape. That’s why a mattress encasement is used so they are stuck at the top
@DustMiteTreatment so a mattress/pillow encasement with vacuum can be a great way to remove dust mites on the surface right?
Hi bro i have done an extensive reading on dust mites and have found that the government reports stating that despite having encasements the group tested didn't show any decline in their symptoms of allergy rhinitis?although it significantly reduced the concentration of dust mites. Isn't it paradoxical?
Encasements by themselves are not going to solve the issue, they only make it easier to get rid of them. instead of washing the inside of your mattress / duvet and pillow you can instead have an encasement, now you just need to clean the outside. you need to do all the other steps such as wash all bedding at 60 degrees, dehumidifier, air purifier
@DustMiteTreatment dehumidifier is much more important than air purifier
Why should i clean the encasement? It's dust mite proof right? It will contain the dust mites in pillow and mattress all i have to do is clean the other covers on top of it right? And my symptoms aren't in skin so even if i buy cheap pillow cases where it can escape via the zippers so it's going to be not a problem right since majority of the dust mites get trapped in the pillow there and only some dust mites get out of it by pure luck right? Mites can't discern there is an opening right? They are brainless and blind?
I wrote this article - i wrote this article - dustmitetreatment.com/pages/how-do-dust-mite-covers-work
you only need to clean the outside of anything with an encasement, the article explains it more. they are blind... and dumb. but to be honest there is no research done on something like this so its all guess work in terms of them escaping the encasement. The most similar research i can read is dust mites knowing to "feed" on human skin then bury themselves in mattress when the body is gone.so they must have some basic survival skills.
Bro antihistamine nasal spray or steroid nasal spray which is better and least side effect for dust mite allergy rhinitis?
Your need both to be honest, at Least until You control dust mites in your home. There are products out there that have both. Which country do you live in?
@DustMiteTreatment india
@@qwerty-tn3yb ahh unfortunately i cannot recommend any out there! your have to experiment and find out what works for you. Ive not used any of the products out there.
Hi bro what about sleeping on plastic mat so no more dust mite allergy?
As long as you vacuum or wet wipe it every 4-7 days , and the floor around it is also vavumn / mop
But what about the mattress?
The encasement stops dust mites coming out of mattress so it won’t matter
Have you been diagnosed wrong?
Sir does latex or memory foam better than spring mattress in terms of harbouring dust mites, i have heard that latex and memory foam are hypoallergenic is that true?
Sleep on floor or wood is the best idea right pls reply?
vacumn AND mop the floor. make sure its a hard floor like wood or concrete
Bro does Korai Grass Mat inhabited by dust mites?
Bro what about sleeping on plain wood so no more dust mites right? I know it's uncomfortable but since it's a way to avoid the awful allergies i would resort to it since i don't have much time for cleaning and other stuffs. Wood is dust mite proof right?
Pls reply to this I'm begging you pls sir🙏
@@qwerty-tn3yb yes sleeping on just wood... would help! but they also live in blankets /pillows etc! I would just encase the mattress / pillow,. wash bedding as often as you can (even daily) and dry get humidty to below 50%
@@RichardRJW thats a lot of work right? I can't really find time, so sleeping on wood barely without any stuff would be better right, any better material than wood
Bro what about covering pillow and mattress in plastic does it prevent the penetration of dust mite? As it's water proof
I’ve mentioned the dust mite encasements. They are the same thing, it has plastic in it. So yes it prevents dusts mites, dust mites are larger than water
The major dust mite avoidance technique was missed in this video. Dust mite proof covers over the pillows, mattress and boxsping markedly decreases transfer of dust mites from these dust mite containing reservoirs , and sheets, blankets and covers should be washed in hot water then replaced on bed. Sheets grow dust mites while sitting in the closet. The sheets going onto your bed should be fresh out of the washer/dryer.
This was very helpful, thanks
No problem feel free to ask any additional questions 😃
So uhh i have yellow and uhm how do i remove it
Standard advice is wait 5-7 days then if not go to doctor for antibiotics
I've had a dust mite allergy for as long as I can remember, so I'm used to the routine symptoms-like a stuffy nose (especially in the morning), eczema, and so on. Right now, I'm going through a bad flare-up. I don't have asthma, but I keep sneezing, and my nose is constantly running. I'm just now realizing that I don't know anything my condition, so thank you for your help! I've been doing some research, but a lot of the advice I'm finding seems questionable. You seem very practical, so I wanted to check with you: Am I supposed to have two mattress encasements, put one in the freezer, then use a regular sheet on top of the encasement? Should I wash the regular sheets and switch out the mattress encasement every week? And should I do the same for pillows and quilts?
Hi no problem! Yes you’re right. Encasements 1. One set of encasements on the bed 2. When clean - take off and put the other encasement set in freezer, OR wash at 60 degrees. Issue with this is it will lose its micro pore size over time so you won’t know if encasement still effective. 3. Put your spare one back on (one that has been in freezer for 7 days ) or washed at 60 degrees Bedding ALL bedding should be washed at 60 degrees every week. Pillow/duvet inserts - if they have encasement on you do not need to wash them. Dust mites can’t escape encasement. If no encasement then I’d say every 1-4 weeks This routine above is for people like yourself who have quite severe symptoms 😃
@@DustMiteTreatment Thank you!

Im a kid but i have a skin asthma
Hope you get the info you need to cure it! Feel free to DM me
Good but it stings really really really bad when I moisturise
That’s a sign of damaged skin… which means it’s even more susceptible to foreign objects entering…. So even more important to moisture there! Bit of course try find one that stings less
I was in India till then I never had any allergy till 30years of my life. We never use AC there. Once I moved to UAE, I started getting allergy. For 3years I struggled to understand what is it. Then after searching alot I got to know through youtube that I have allergy rhinitis. But what was causing it .. then I understood I need to do allergy test. Finally I did it and got to know I have allergy from dust mites. Dr gave me a spray and suggested immunotherapy. I am still surviving on spray. But when I stop taking it I get the allergy back. I understood from your videos that how I can take care of it. I still feel under confident in public places. But I will rise up and cure myself oneday. Thank you for helping me in this journey.
Hey thats great to hear! gives my work purpose i appreciate it. Good luck on your journey (once your home is dust mite proofed should be smooth sailing!)
Sir allergy and ashthama parmanent solution when will it come the future Who is there any solution to this problem you have some information
No perm solution- however if you have a regular routine it will no cause you problems. Read our 6 step guide on our website. DustMiteTreatment.Com
Immunetharapy can be completely cured allergy
It’s possible, however very rare. However studies show a 60-80% of people experience a reduction in allergy symptoms after a 3 year course.
No, if the humidity is too low, this causes dry skin and more flare ups. Humidifiers are better for eczema
For dust mites they die at below 50% , so if your eczema is caused by this then it’s better. If your eczema is not caused by dust mites then perhaps humidity is better. It seems like 45% is the sweet spot for most people even if they have eczema not caused by dust mites

Hi, so you hoover the bedding covering? also why was you pouting water into the pillowcase? Thanks
Hoover or place in freezer the dust mite allergy bedding. The normal sheets wash at 60 degrees
Water is to prove it’s dust mite proof, if water cannot escape then dust mites cannot

Oh all 3?! Wow. Well dust mite covers can be found at dustmitetreatment.com Wet wipes for your keyboard! And go get some bleach and a cloth for the mold!
My mum told me when I was a little girl that when you get up you should pull the covers back and let your bed cool down before making it.
Exactly ! There is a lot of moisture/ humidity In your bed when you wake up. Leaving the cover off allows it to escape
I literally just learned about dust mites the hard way... we have them and I don't know how to get rid of them them!!!!

@DustMiteTreatment Thanks, but I just used food grade Diatomaceous Earth and took care of it!
What do you mean, doesnt 60C remove the mites/enzyme, do you skip Washing it and freeze instead?
Washing at 60 degree does remove. However most dust mite protectors are made of plastic/pvc . They degrade from high heat and become useless. Freezing is an alternative

Now then. Great video. Just thought of 2 more to add. Probiotics - Improved my eczema a massive amount. Would recommend anyone to try. Saline nasal rinse - Came up on my facebook and thought I would give it a go. Doesn't help me sleeping, if I do it before bed. But in the morning, really clears out the congestion from the night.
Thanks for sharing! Probiotics is definitely a useful tool, should have included that! Saline rinse and Neti pot are very similar. Neti pot will clean sinus too so just included that. Saline rinse is quicker to use. I might upload a video on effective use of Neti pot be interesting to see if that could help you further.
Somehow I missed the Neti Pot section. I have wondered whether the electronic versions are worth the money. There is one called Cleanux. Seems to be doing the same thing but has more pressure I guess. @@DustMiteTreatment
The way I use a Neti pot the pressure shouldn’t matter, I hold my head upside side so the water travels to all sinuses (including those behind forehead)
Haha brilliant, I'll have to try that.@@DustMiteTreatment

😅 i have athsma and never had a problem with making my bed 😂 or mites
It just helps humidity escape bed, which will make it less hospitable for dust mites (might also have some UV light exposed on bed which would reduce them further )
