ESPANTAHO is an intriguing film to watch. The strength of this movie is the fine performances of Judy Ann Santos (MMFF 2024 Best Actress Winner), Chanda Romero and of course Lorna Tolentino. Both LT and Chanda were nominated for Best Supporting Actress. Watching the said movie, hands up talaga ako sa husay at galing nila Juday, Chanda at Lorna. In my opinion, LT's role is pivotal (pang Lead Actress and at the same time pang Supporting Actress din). Mahusay si Juday for the Lead role at lumutang naman talaga si Chanda sa role niya but it is LT for me who really give connecting puzzles in the said movie. Her nuances is perfectly balance, indeed a formidable acting performance. I hope sa darating na Award Seasons ... manalo siya ng award sa movie na ito same with Chanda Romero. 👏💯👏💯👏

The film Uninvited was not robbed. It was nominated but there were other entries better than Uninvited. The jurors were not convinced it had the merits to be adjudged the winner in ALL categories it was nominated. It was all a hype perpetrated by some fanatics who praised the person in Uninvited than the character. The truth is there was nothing new in the movie at all! It was a complete rehash of everything we watch on tv everyday. It was like a teleserye no less. Vilma, for example, was effective but not convincing as a vengeful mother. The director failed miserably navigating Vilma towards a more convincing performance. Vilma’s brand of acting did not work this time. Similarly, Aga must be fine but he as well failed meeting the jurors’ standards. His noninclusion does not make him less of a good actor just that as to taste, to each his own. Also, who would be impressed in a movie where the first 20 minutes or so will tell all? It is too elementary so as never to predict what the next scene will be. i agree with the mmff jurors… we share the same judgment…. Vilma OA acting & nothing has new. Screaming & arguing. Gosh! No artistry in acting. - Great choice of jurors this MMFF 2024! No leaks, no giving of envelopes & biases! A total opposite of Last year’s jury member which for my personal opinion was not an impartial choice of juror members! It was tainted with who is their favourite but this year 2024 these MMFF juror members are not showbiz obsessed people with predetermined prejudices & biases!

Celeteque lang ang nakapagpabalik ng kinis ng mukha ko. Same procedure din ako, naglabasan acne ko Nung may pinainom na vitamins sa akin, di Pala ako hiyang. nagtry ako ng ibang brand pero lumala lang. Celeteque lang ang nakatanggal ng acne ko. Worth it ito.

Dumaan kami sa walang entrance fee. Walangya! Kulang na lang mag rock climbing. 😅 Bakbakan agad eh.
