Traveled to Bryce Canyon after we left Zion NP and stayed in Cannonville, which is approximately 20 minutes from the entrance of the park. We hiked down to the bottom and saw the Queen's Garden and Wall Street. Definitely recommend a visit to this park.

Visited Zion NP in June (1st week) and it was really hot, 106 when we left. We rode our bikes one day, from the Watchman Campground to the end of the line at the Temple of Sinawava and then we walked down to where the Narrows starts. We knew the water was cold so we didn't even attempt that hike. We opted for the hike up to the start of Angel's Landing which is Scout Lookout. What an adventure!...

After we left Lee's Ferry, we went to the top of the mesa to a small town called Page, Arizona. The main thing to do in Page is to go out on Lake Powell. The water is really low this time of year but more than normally. We had a blast exploring the canyons on the boat.

Stayed at Lee's Ferry campground and booked a back haul service to Glen Canyon dam from Lee's Ferry. Kayaked back the 15 miles and camped out overnight at 6 mile camp. Amazing time!! A "must do" bucket list adventure.

We started out in eastern Arizona with the Petrified Forest and stayed near Winslow where the Painted Desert starts. Then we went to the Grand Canyon to meet up with family and ride our electric bikes on the rim of the canyon. What a trip!!

Went to stay at the Valley of Fires in New Mexico. Had a nice view of the lava fields from the Malpais Lava Flow which happened 5,000 years ago when Little Black Peak erupted.

Went to Carlsbad Caverns and spent 5 hours a mile underground. Crazy to think how much is down there. Didn't get to see many bats because they usually swarm around the hot summer months like July and August. If you go, make sure you make reservations online for the Kings Palace tour or else you will need to show up at 7:30am to get your same day tickets.

Went to visit our son after the eclipse and they surprised us with a wedding invitation. Or course we were so excited to be able to be there and watch the happy couple be joined together for life. YKWYK

Went to see the nightlife in Buda, Texas. We had to create our own entertainment, so Kyle volunteered to entertain us with his karaoke singing abilities. Did you know that Karaoke originated in Japan and means "empty orchestra"?

After the Alamo we went on an educational riverwalk boat ride through the 7th largest city in America.

Went for some German food but we only found the bakery and the river. We ran out of time for a swim, but Penny got to go in the water. The German part of town will have to be another visit.

Went to San Antonio to see the Alamo and also to walk around the Riverwalk and take the tour on the river. Very cute city and amazed that it's the 7th largest in the USA.

We made it from Florida to Texas in 3 days (2 over nights). That was driving about 6 or 7 hours per day. We stayed at a Cracker Barrel parking lot the first night and they a Harvest Host the second night.
