I’m preparing for the Chiltern 50 wonderland in September! I’m dreading! Will be my first attempt to do an ultramarathon, I’ll probably will need the whole 13 hours 😂

That's great to hear you've signed up for this excellent 50 miler. My only real advise, not that I'm an expert, is get the long distance trail running training done. It'll get you through to the end. Test you nutrition options well in advance. A recce of the course would be useful but it is well signed on the day. Don't go off too fast (like I did) and prepare for the big hill half way. All the very best with the run. You'll have an incredible time.

Really sorry to hear you had a fall. That must've been so frustrating. But you definitely did the right thing to drop out. Hope you have a speedy recovery and all the very best with the Serpent Trail 100k.

Totally. It's a fabulous Ultra. But even if you don't fancy the full distance there is also a marathon and 15 miler.

It's a flat course but there are a few elements of trails. So it all comes down to the weather on the day. If it's good weather, then it's a potential PB course. But as it's in December it's likely to be cold, wet and windy. Hope that helps.
