2nd Annual Western Canada International Invitational Chainsaw Carving Competition Really wished you were here with Cook. Felt AMAZING to be able to be inside the rope and a ACTUAL Carver. Learned so much from my 1st Competition.....was in solid position at the end of my 10 hrs on Saturday and Sunday was "SUPPOSED to be" a breeze !!!!! LoL, lie tossed a wrench into my 1st & 2nd cut . Chased those mistakes till 4.5 hrs later. BARELY got it painted and threw 1/2 pail of SPAR Varnish on as the " Horn WAS BLOWING" !!!!!! I Beat the clock , all that mattered. 3/4 of my Octopus was good. I still managed to get 3rd, just like Ryan Cook. You have no idea how I feel to get even the slightest mention in Ryan's End of Event Live Stream !!!!!! Man I just wanted to let you know that I appreciate your time and communication with me. Hopefully you can get into the Event next year, 😁, I'm also in for next year's again....... You're the BEST my Friend.

Kevin you can rip out a carve so quick that it’s still has detail to it! Plus do it with a saw plenty big and hefty. I could watch you all day

Nice work. I like your style. I just started carving a few months ago and really enjoy it. Can you give any tips on working with green/wet wood. I painted a couple of bears a couple weeks ago and the paint seems to stay a little tacky as the wood continues to dry. Is this normal?
