It is unclear whether this sonata by Vivaldi, composed between 1716 and 1725, is for violin or oboe. However, Johann Christian Richter, oboist at the Dresden Court, copied the (possibly only extant) manuscript, and it is possible that the work was dedicated to him.

anyone have any tips for playing the chords? i'm learning this and the thing im struggling with the most is the chords😭😭😭
Without knowing what the exact troubles are i can only give you some general tips: Practice the individual voices of the chords. First just the voice, then play only one voice but finger both of them. Do this for both until it they both are in tune. Don't forget to concentrate on the sound of the individual voices as well. If one of them doesn't sound good your chord wont sound good either. Then put it together and be amazed how good it sounds :P Good luck and have fun!

Beautiful.Fortunately Kahn was "rediscovered after ww2. Very prolific composer. I read where this piece was done when he was in his early twenites, dedeicated to Joachim, not a bad violinist at the time!. Thankyou for bringing us this lovely rendition with all the attendant depth , feeling and subtleties..., quite moving.
