Snow Day in the Tundra!
Просмотров 48428 дней назад
We finally got some snow in my area to try the Toyota Tundra out and see how the 4 wheel drive does. Just casual driving on city roads and a few back roads. The truck did good and the nitto ridge grapples did fine with the small amount of snowfall we got.
Finally got a hitch for the Yoter

Finally got a hitch for the Tundra. I went with the B&W with the 3 inch drop since my Toyota is lifted. There is def numerous options out there but this brand if made in the USA so I ended up going with them.
Every Toyota Tundra Needs This.....

I finally got a bed step for my lifting Toyota Tundra. My truck has a 3 inch lift so I wanted this to make it easier to get into the bed when I have to unload anything towards the back. Super easy bolt on and a Toyota OEM part. Let me know if you all use a bed step or don't really think it is needed. Stay blessed y'all.
2024 Tundra OEM Predator Step Install

Finally putting on some running boards for my 2024 Tundra. The truck came with the TRD 3 inch lift and needed some steps so I went with the Toyota Predator running boards. Super easy to install and just uses the stock bolts already on the truck.

I have had my new Toyota Tundra for about 2 weeks and here are the top 5 things I don't like about the truck. I really enjoy the truck and love most of its features besides a few. I plan to a top 5 things I love about the truck as well. Just a side note: I forgot to add I don't like the auto start cut off in the Tundra as well. Have a blessed day!
A Review of my new Toyota Tundra!

I have been into sports cars but finally made the move to step in to the truck world. I ended up getting a Toyota Tundra and this is my initial review. Def new waters getting into the truck world so bare with me lol Have a blessed day y'all!
I got the same truck, lol. Put a hard cover on the back, and the step rails on both sides of the vehicle. It makes it so much easier getting in and out. I love my truck and put about 6 k miles on it so far. Great ride, and all my extended family have GMCs and Chevys and when they get in my truck they are disgruntled seeing how nice it is, compare to theirs. lol I have the panoramic view camera also.
Very nice! I got the running boards and bed step put on her now. Next step for me is window tint and bigger tires 👍
They didn’t put bigger tires because that would throw off mph
Yeah 👍 I also heard they would have to change the mpg rating as well.
Definitely love that lift, wish my 24 Limited had it. I agree that the battery takes up all the interior storage, even less if you have the 12 speaker JBL system. Nice truck!
Some 24 are experiencing engine failures
Yeah, I had saw that too. The good thing about Toyota though imo is they will make it right and fix the issue. I know it is still a headache but I think they are better than some other manufacturers.
And reported failure already on the 25's.
Just enjoy the truck and don’t listen to all the negative info. I have 24 Tundra with 24,000 miles and not one single issue and if I ever do Toyota will cover it. Great looking truck!
@al91stang i agree, toyota is usually good to fix it off its their fault
Does it fit in your garage? I'm looking at a Limited with the 3 inch lift but worried it will be too tall for the garage, which has 84" clearance.
Mine doesn't fit, so I have to keep outside. My garage is about that but it won't fit due to the width not the height for me.
@chadcoffey5621 Ooh, so there's hope with it fitting height-wise. Thank you!
Taller tires = lazy acceleration, late transmission shifts causing burnt up clutches, skewed mileage, less braking potential is a safety liability. Tire size is an engineered factor. Yes, I'm a ASE master tech
Beautiful truck and it will look amazing with bigger tires but that V6 engine scares the hell outta me from a reliability stand point. If you plan on getting rid of it before the warranty is up, it's prob not a big deal in that case though.
Thanks man. I totally get the V6 reliability scare. I typically trade every 3 years and hop into something new, so that's probably what I will do.
I like tundra over f150
Yeah the tundra has much better interior and I like the exterior better too 👍
I installed this bumper step, great addition for sure
I traded a 2023 TRD sport Taco for a 2024 i force Max Tundra limited in lunar rock. Though i love lunar rock, my Taco was celestial silver and man does your Tundra pop. Nice truck Man!
Nice man! I was choosing between the lunar and the silver and got the better deal on this one. Next thing for me might be some window tint haha
@chadcoffey5621 That's my next move, tint the fronts to match the back. These trucks are pretty cool, very quick and though we haven't had much snowfall in Maine yet, the little bit we did get, it handled like a boss. I like the look of the 3 inch lift, and totally agree, 35's minimum and 18 inch rim would top off the look.
@@denisduperre280 Yeah we are suppose to get some snow possibly this week so hoping mother nature lets me test out the 4 wheel drive haha. Def gotta get me some 34 or 35's on her.
That Tacoma has it though they want them to be stolen ????
2024 Tacoma doesn't turn off. I don't see why they can't update the tundra to do the same
I 100% agree. This is my first Toyota and none of my other cars have ever done this so I was surprised when it cut off.
Wireless key? Mine I have to put key in ignition with in 5 minutes and door is not the problem
#6 The Felt Skid Plate. #7 4’ wider turning radius then previous Gen 2 Tundra. #8 Plastic Bed. #9 Huge Depreciation due to recalls. #10 Over inflated prices on all trims.
Yeah def feel the depreciation and inflated prices lol I got the one with the spray in bed liner.
Looks good. Nice touch and practical.
Thanks man! I have always been a sports car guy but getting into the truck world haha
Nice truck. Im considering Toyota just because they are affordable and willing to deal for a better price. What was your out the door on this beauty?
Thanks! They for sure came like 5-6 off the msrp since it was new 24. I shopped around for a silverado and f-150 and toyota was by far the best as far as price and matching the same features.
Question guy asked: what was your out the door price ? And you answered like lawyer 👎
Nice truck. I’m considering a Tundra. I’m looking at pulling the trigger soon with year end deals. Being taller (6’3”), it does feel good sitting inside. I feel right at home. Being tall sucks when looking for a car. Did you consider the TRD off road package?
Hey man. This truck is just as nice as any of its competitors for sure. I am 5'11' so I had plenty of room. This one just came with the TRD lift stock which is 3 inch lift. The TRD package gets you some more things like bigger tires, mud flaps, crawl control/terrain, and the "off road" tuned suspension. I am not much into off roading yet but I am still going to put some 34's on it for the look. I will say if you are thinking about lifting the truck its worth it with Toyota. They beef everything up instead of a 3rd party kit just doing the basics and its covered under warranty.
