I have one more year to reach 60! But I was over 60, 8 years ago when the Lord found me, a made a new creature. So I am 8 years old.

My brother died 12/2/2024. From drugs overdose. I’m 68 going for my CDCA license. Learning how to use a laptop. I’m going to use the rest of my life to help people get sober. I listen to you all the time. I like to Thank you 🎉 for teaching me it’s never too late to learn.

I'm in my 50s a professional engineer and certainly not a medical expert; however, I believe that living a healthy life and keeping yourself physically and mentally active is key to being a long and productive member of society. Cheers to to all!

I'm almost 76 and I remember 1952. My physical and mental health is great. I have always looked younger than my actual age. Especially having younger women flirting with me. I will tell them my real age. They realize I'm much older than their parents. When i turn 21 the liquor store thought I was 12 years old. I'm a Vietnam War era veteran being ask for ID to buy beer or Bacardi rum.

I’ve turned 60 & For me it’s never ever been a case of “slowing down”, it’s a case of achieving that kinda elusive ‘balance”-enjoying the moment, whether it’s fast or slow, because it’s the diversity that life has to offer is what makes it so special & so rewarding .. whether that’s running a marathon, flying down a black ski slope, or just sipping a glass of wine with your loved ones. It is true that the older one gets one appreciates the most valuable commodity of them all .. TIME 😊

My Father taught me at a young age how to survive in a very crazy sometimes hostile world. This has not changed throughout my life. Sure I don't have a cell phone, but I don't need a cell phone. It's all about what I need in life now rather than what I want. And it's less expensive too. Living good at 68.

I'm 62 now. I semi-retired at 55 then fully at 60. Now I'm a full time RVr, follow the weather. Caretaking properties in exchange for rent. Parking 6 months at a time, just dog and me.

I just turned 67 and I've returned to the college. I'll be a psychologist. I found all different: methods of teaching and ways of learning. It doesn't matter, I am getting fun. Thank you for helping me to clarify this third period of my life.

This are genius suggestions. At 61, i feel at the zenith of my abilities. Helping others is a joy, daily exercise is a priority, appreciating others is both free but of immense value, looking beyond oneself to those around us and to Him above. Combos we develop in our life make or break our degree of contentment. Happiness is not a goal but a state of being. Paul says be content.

The worst part about being over 60 is comparing my life as a child to the lives of children today and seeing how many of the things I took for granted are gone. Like eating and watching TV as a family. Nobody on TV used swear words and there were no swear words in the music people listened to. People noticed the world around them instead of being totally zoned out looking at their "smart" phone. Kids played outside and came in when the street lights came on. There were far more skinny people than fat people. People communicated with each other using spoken words. Kids were actually punished by their parents if they did something wrong and praised when they did something right. People accepted the fact that life is tough and it's normal to get your feelings hurt. Facts didn't take a back seat to feelings. Every person on the planet over the age of 2, knew the difference between a man and a woman. Gay meant happy. Hearing about someone that raped a child shocked the conscience and made national news. Every meal was a home cooked meal. One income families made good, middle class livings. God and Jesus were respected and a big influence on most people's lives. I could go on and on about the great things I had during my childhood that I took for granted. It saddens me that our country has changed so much in such a short amount of time. At this rate, I fear what life is going to be like when my grandchildren are my age.
