The 100 explained - Who are the Primes?
We've met most of the primes, but there are still a lot of questions about them. This video is part video essay part explainer. I throw out some theories and attempt to explain the Primes of Sanctum. Who are they? What are they about? And what's their history? What is naming day? Including little things you may have missed about the primes .Most of this video is based on information we have from The 100 s06e01 to s06e05. I’m really enjoying this season of The !00, it’s great that the show has gone back to its sci-fi roots. Our heroes, Clarke, Belamy, Murphy, Raven, and the others thought this planet would be best suited to them, but some people are about to die for sure. Although, Sanctum...

I have trouble watching the last one because of what she did to herself just makes me feel uncomfortable. I don’t have anything against it isn’t a phobia of fear not a hatred? I’m gonna get a bunch of shit for that. I’ve never send anybody done to themselves.N I’ve crossed paths w a few very unexpectedly There’s gotta be a reason why I feel uncomfortable seeing her. I think she was full potential and should’ve stayed the way she was because that is her career right I don’t wear a red hat, but I don’t think the other side should make me think I’m a bad person because I see you when I see spiders I get when I see somebody who had things taken away and they’re not what I remember No one controls what makes them feel like they’re hearing a chalkboard scratch, but that’s the idea and I wanna know why that is because I spent this part of my life kind of judging things based on my basic conscience and my conscious feel uncomfortable. I don’t harm anybody I have anybody I can. I don’t even have kids. I’m afraid I’ll break them I’m not even gonna look for people arguing on here because you shouldn’t. You should just be grateful that you’re able to understand.

I alwasy thought Luther was the over-confident one, thinking he was right in locking her up in turn causing the destruction of the world. You matching Leanord and Vanya to Icurus brought a whole new perspective to light. I still think it is Luther's fault though lol.

You could have explained her character pretty neatly if you hadn't gone all gender specific in the middle of the video. Anyone who has been suppressing their emotions - even basic ones like anger would react the way Vanya did when they found out that the neglect and numbness they struggled with since childhood was because of careful manipulation and lying. Women aren't too emotional to handle powers, that's a bullshit argument and no one said that Hargreaves suppressing Vanya's power had anything to do with her being a girl. He would have done the same to any of the boys if they had her powers. Vanya's reaction is unique to her character because she is sensitive and struggles with self esteem and fear - it really had nothing to do with her gender. The fact that you had to go there means you're not really past the bullshit our ancestors force fed us down the centuries.

I disagree on the part of powerful men control women and women are to emotional for power. The lesson is learning to balance your femininity and masculinity. Vanya was feminine, but she was never given the opportunity to Feel like the others or even to grow, so she has to shove 20 something years of stunted grow in a matter of months. She always been passive (femininity ideal) because fear was instilled in her and when that happens, it stunts your active self from disciplining it traits which is a masculine ideal. Again both concepts are out of balance. I know we are talking about, but a similar thing happened to Luther because in some way his father had some degree of fear in his power as well, and that is why he kept him at side for all these years. The fear that Luther might be better as a leader, so father used him and his love/respect as a footstool in his missions. In order to be a great leader you have to have love which father feared the most. This has nothing to do with the war of female and male. This has something to do with our parents misusing their powers in generations because as the generations progress they focus less of surviving out of fear and more surviving out of love which always scared previous generation.
