I think my favorite part of the Penpal story is the mystery of what the mother saw under the house. This, along with the entity from the Whistler story, truly bring out a fear of the unknown, and make the story that much better :D!

Ah, now these are some creepy stories. I think your choices on whispering footsteps and boxes while soft speaking balloons fit appropriately for the contents of each story. Liked both for that reason, but I do lean towards whispering for creepy stories. Both and mixed are good, though. Laughed at some of Josh’s walkie talking. Macho Man probably being the biggest funny standout. I really enjoyed hearing each story. Footsteps being a great introduction to this series of stories, probably my favorite so far of Penpal. Looking forward to listening and reading the next part. Thank you for the story telling and relaxing video. :)

Forgot to comment on this one until now. I remember being unfocused then laughing for a bit over “were made of that stuff?” “Yeah, isn’t it awesome”. I’m easily taken off guard when tired I suppose. I really like this story around the same as the previous. So many angles of it to think about. Appreciate your edits like usual. And thanks for the video. :)

I loved it. BEEG surprise, I know! Speaking of surprises; no words really caught me by surprise this time. Plexus and others words around that point sure are uncommon but the don’t provoke my tired brain, I suppose. I did laugh a couple times but I think that was just me smiling so much at the beginning getting a new one of these and thinking about “Fallout New Vegas” from last time. I named a character in Disgaea: “New Vegas” back when I was playing it. It’s almost like my own redeem token for me to laugh. It really shouldn’t be hehehahuhahu. I’ll definitely listen to this again in the future. Maybe then I’ll have more to say about the video lol. Thanks so much, Rin. :)

Rin has perfected combining creepy and comfy.

I genuinely love this one. I feel like I should make that clear. I enjoyed listening to this again tonight. From the atmospheric background noise to the enunciation of the consonants to the very slight alterations of your voice to indicate another character without sounding too different to stand out too strongly. And even getting that early laugh I get from fallout new Vegas. It all comes together for me so well. Never thought I would be able to say that about something labeled “Spooky ASMR”. I know I’ve already said it before but thanks, Rin. And well done! :)

I just had to come back and comment on the one asmr video I missed. I did actually watch this at least around when it came out. If you don’t mind me asking: How have you been doing, Rin?

Previously on Rin’s Spooky Saturday: …”racist” (huh) and …”psycho” (oh yeah, that’s nice) And so it begins. Can you guess what jumped out at me this time? “Fallout: New Vegas” I burst out laughing and I don’t know why. It happened early in the video and nothing else got me out of tired mind trance. Also good annunciation on those consonants. I found that pleasant. Thanks, Rin.

That’s a pretty thick art book, very nice. Gorgeous art! I haven’t played the game myself (except for a tiny while years back and not enough to form an opinion). Thought I might get to it some time after playing through the series. It been years since then and my progress is only beaten 1-3 😅. Anyways; thanks for the video. :)

Thanks for the reading, Rin. :) My tired brain couldn’t really keep up with the story so it felt like a ramble with occasionally non-everyday words pulling me back like “racist” and “psycho”. I’m like “oh yeah, spooky spooky story stuff; that’s nice”.
