The only problem I have with your rewrite is Alastor. Not only is he extremely underutilized but his intervention at the end makes zero sense. Why in the world would he drag her away and restrain her? What purpose would that serve? It does absolutely nothing in the story and he has no reason to do that. All the information he communicated could've been communicated just fine at any other time without interrupting the fight. Speaking of, all it really does is just interrupt the fight. Charlie fights Adam, Alastor stops it to communicate his useless information, and then Charlie fights Adam again. Why??

Now that I think about it, if Hazbin ever wanted to explain where sinners/angels go when they die (not including Pentious), they *could* take the Coco route. No one knows where sinners, who haven’t been redeemed, go when they die.

OH MY GOD YES YES YES ON VOX. I feel like he would have been such a cool and menacing character if his and Alastor’s rivalry was fair! He’s been my favorite character since the pilot and it feels like his potential was wasted. Hopefully we’ll get more development from him in Season 2!

The song can be triggering if you're not in a good point in your life or lacking a healthy mindset but it brings me nostalgia and remembering surviving some trying times and being able to get better.

One of the first things I'd change is this: If it is _absolutely_ necessary to have factions within Heaven be the antagonist, I'd get rid of Adam. He's just an infantile dick and acts as the antithesis of what an angel should be, which makes you question why he's in heaven in the first place. So, I instead came up with a different character named Archon. He would be the leader of the exterminators, but unlike a lot of the characters in the show, he wouldn't be driven by being a jerk but instead a misplaced sense of justice. Archon would absolutely _tower_ over everyone else, his face would be devoid of a mouth or eyes as to not show emotion, he would never swear, he wouldn't play practical jokes, he's in control of his emotions, his presence can silence a room, and every word he speaks is a whisper that drops like a nuke. Charlie's meeting with him would be swapped with Emily's, so that she can actually get a good perspective about heaven before meeting the one who runs the exorcists, but when she does, he listens silently and thoughtfully without interruption, letting her lay out her plans before taking his opportunity to speak. Then, he takes the opportunity to explain why it would never work. He brings up multiple instances of sinners with no hope of redemption, like Ted Bundy, Gertrude Baniszewski, Richard Ramirez, and tells Charlie that they had their chance in life, now is the time for their blood to atone for the seeds of the innocent. He further states that if it were up to him, the culling wouldn't be a single day but instead a prolonged genocide, as sinners deserve nothing more than eternal damnation for what they've done, casually shooting down Charlie's hopes and dreams at every opportunity. Is Archon right? No, but his motivations are clear and understandable. Are there holes in his perspective? Yes, but that's the point. Is it perfect? Definitely not, it could use a lot of work, but having someone who's very presence shifts the tone of a series from light-hearted comedy to a serious drama about whether or he'll follow through with that promise.
