the audience seems bored because no one interacts with them, if you watch videos from 2015 you see a lot of James kottak interacting with the audience, in addition to doing backing vocals. rip. he is missed.

I did notice the strange PA dropping out right in the middle of still loving you.

I am pretty sure he is lip-syncing Coming Home; but none of the other songs.

@@ANbutton90 I noted: Microphone too far from mouth at times; pitch-perfect at age 76; in close up video shots he didn’t appear to be making much physical effort to sing, ie chest wasn’t expanding to draw in air; and there was definitely some pre-recorded backing vocals at times in his voice and which he say in perfect harmony with and in perfect time. There’s being a polished pro and then there’s sounding suspiciously too good. And at his age that’s a physical impossibility for the length of a concert …even with a few breaks for solos etc BTW, what a great drummer Mickey Dee is. He definitely wasn’t faking it.

Yes, I did notice same thing with the PA System dropping out when playing still loving you. I think I heard twice but no more than 1 second each. It seemed to me a cable not be plugged properly but I could be wrong. Anyway great show 😊

@@markcoomber8222 I don't know where you heard sounding suspiciously good ;) Klaus still sing on the tolerably level - in contrast to many vocalist in his age - but it's much worse than 10 years ago, for example. For sure Coming Home intro is recorded before tour but that's all. In other songs sometimes obviously heard (maybe too obviously) backing vocals from tape (The Zoo, I'm Leaving You, The Same Thrill etc.) but basic singing is real, I have no doubt.

A lot of people have said that Mikkey has probably added years to them playing such a high level that is obviously no complaint towards the late James Kottak he was a fantastic drummer in his own right. Klaus unfortunately wasn't as active but considering he had major surgery not long before they were doing the shows in Vegas it's a miracle he isn't doing the shows sat down or stationary the whole time.

Mickey was sensational

​@@leightonhaberfield4813he was amazing also it was the first time that he played Wembley Arena since 2014 with Motorhead so it was nice to see in the drum solo section the Motorhead logos on the Slot Machine especially being a massive Motorhead fan

comparing drummers by drum solo is a joke... james gave much more to the show than mikkey ever did, the transition between songs was much more dynamic, in addition to adding vocals, drumstick spins and getting the audience active... . watch 2015 videos with james on drums... I saw mikkey in rock in rio last week, average drummer who is just there to play, clean, just stands out on the drum solo ... wow
