You must be kidding! Santander Consumer USA has been identified as a major predatory auto loan company in the U.S. Its senior C-level structure across the board is so convoluted its impossible to really identify its officers and positions without a deep dive. This company had ruined millions of consumers credit and faith in banking/loan systems, and was sued by 34 U.S. states thereby forced to settle a $550 million dollar law suit in the U.S. Unfortunately this is a conglomeret I cannot endorse as a result its business practices alone...

My biggest question is that safeguarding is either by insurance or segregated account, I would love to know if there is a firm that offers a cheap insurance solution for safeguarding that will be accepted by a European national central bank. What is this firm? What is the insurance-only solution? What are the costs involved?

Identity and payments need to be much closer aligned - in fact, they need to converge into verified identity being the core of our payments mechanism. We need to embrace informed consent of using verified identity properly proving that both me as the payer is really me, AND that the person I think I am paying (payee) IS actually that person (who have their responsibility to prove they are the person/company who they make out to be!). The current situation is just pathetically one sided and lines us all up for being ripped off by fraudsters.
