'Sink the Rising Sun' Book Trailer
In the dark days after Pearl Harbor, a small, untested arm of the United States Navy was all that stood between the shattered American fleet and the ascendent Japanese Empire. Far off in Western Australia, U.S. submarine officer Benjamin Holt finds himself on the frontlines of World War II with nothing but a decades-old sub and a rusty crew.
The green 25-year-old is ordered to stop Imperial Japan’s bloody expansion across the Pacific any way he can. Between each nerve-wracking war patrol, he’s further challenged by Navy politics, faulty equipment, and his lost love back home, all while adjusting to his strange new life Down Under.

There is no question Garth Marenghi is the greatest horror writer of a generation. The question is, which generation?
KoS, That was a great discussion of some important ideas and practices! Very timely too.
If they can simulate it then it is real, in some place we will never see
The best song of fifa euro 2008 the game

I've got your updoot, Jon. Fun convo 😎🥂
Ironic how the mask-wearing statue can't aspirate...
Great music video for it
I'm Roman Catholic and very much enjoyed this discussion. we're all working toward the same goal - preach the Gospel.
This was great. Father Josiah played an integral role in my conversion as well…three years for me too. Thanks Jon!
Jon Gabriel is OK for a nuc.
When did VP behead a Gorn?!?
Admiral Nimitz recipe for the Old Fashioned Mix which he calls “CINCPAC SPECIAL” 1 clean one gallon jug 3 quarts Bourbon 1/4 of a fifth of gold label rum Add sugar cautiously until you can just detect the presence of sugar. Fill remainder of jug with tap water. Desirable, but not necessary: drop two whole vanilla beans into the jug to stay for many refills of the jug. They last for years. Pour generous portions over ice and serve it forth: This recipe was developed by Admiral Nimitz when he was Commander in Chief of the Pacific at a time when liquor was rationed, a bottle a week to a man and frequently rum was the only kind available.
Another great show and interview K. O.S. !
So big financial is buying up homes to rent them out. An easy way to get them disinterested in this idea is to focus squatting in their houses (not small private owners) for months, and not getting rent.
The video quality makes it better
You deserve more viewers than this. I mean, can't the other Ricochet people at least watch too? I'm just sayin'.
Another great interview. Peachy is great, listening to her book on audible right now. She’s a great voice for the movement and independent media.
I love Crystal Castles.
Hail to the King! Thanks.

Oh, how I love Lileks. From way back…I used to live off of The Bleat!
I had copies of "Gallery of Regrettable Food" and "Interior Desecrators". Wild to hear him speak for the first time. He sounds exactly like I imagined.
This was such a good conversation. Really fascinating stuff that never gets talked about
America's treasures!
Thank you for this, Lileks is an American treasure. Been following his site since the days of motel postcards and matchbooks.
"Jobs that don't add a dime to the wealth of nations" - it's pretty concerning that American corporations are willing to burn profits for . . . virtue signaling? ESG rating? This was entertaining and enjoyable to watch. Thanks to both.
Just discovered this guy he is right up there with Wendy Webb !!! Amazing Researcher and blows my mind for a GenZ totally a critical thinker waaay beyond his years . BOOMERS could learn a thing or two from him !
That was a great discussion. Thanks to both of you. Rudyard and his wisdom, knowledge and eloquence at a relatively early age, gives me an idea of what a John Stuart Mill’s podcast might have sounded like if those had been around back in his early days.
Ricochet has an animated logo on youtube. Things are crazy. Hi King and thanks.
You have the best historian alive on your channel! Awesome
A very fun conversation!
I was a College Republican at UM Ann Arbor in the late 90’s. I remember the first time I was called a “Nazi!”… chalking for Bob Dole on the Diag in 1996. The irony is that Dole suffered lifelong injuries sustained fighting the actual Nazis in WW II. Nuance isn’t a big concern of progressives, lol!
