sketchy dead sycamore removal 👀
this sketchy tree could have gone worse! keeping it interesting with a very dead sycamore with no mechanical access of any kind. it had to be climbed and it had to be rigged. steady as she goes, gently does it and jobs a gooden!

spindly straight lyme tree removal. bit or hand holds, bit of rigging, bit of chogging. costomer wanted all the timber in 10 inch rounds so i diced it down in that size rather then larger sections just cause of the size of tree. smooth work from the team! #climbing #sthil362 #talltrees #arborist

my first attempt at tree climbing video work. what better occasion then this beautiful Douglas fir tree. more actual tree work to follow the tree was assessed with a throw line and srt base tie and topped out at 220ft! #arborist #climbing #tallesttree #treelife #treeworker #talltrees
Thanks Yea just widened the original hole in the exhaust and added another next to it. Yes I own a Sthil 151t and it's a good saw but the echo reves better and pulls better in my opinion. Just don't like the fuel caps but I believe there's a size of husky flip fuel caps which fit but don't know which ones
If you Google Husqvarna T525 bro. That's the equivalent of the Stihl ms 151. The fuel caps off the T525 husky fit the echo 2511T brother. Just helping out a fellow Arborist 🌲 💪🌲👍

Nice dismantle bro. excellent work fella. That 362 sounds nice, Especially with the drilled out exhaust. And yeah the little cs-2511's are a tip top lil saw, Proper nice they are, Light as anything, And i reckon they cut better than the small Stihl ms-151T..
My climb line goes around the main for sloping branches, especially redwoods. Ropes can walk their way out of the crotch and pop the branch right off. I learned this the hard way doing one of my first big takedowns. I spurred into the top of a sloped redwood branch, (It was LONG AND HEAVY) and it broke away from the tree in one second, with a loud POP! Another: A co-worker was coming down a big tree and his climb line was too short. (He was doubled up old-school with a taught line hitch) He re-tied on one of the lowest branches, maybe 15 foot up and the branch snapped from walking. In full gear and powersaw, he landed on his feet, and the speed of it shot him right on his back like a bullet. His back was broken. ~Best
Definitely a major danger for sloping branches! Especially with such trees as readwoods which are crazy snappy

Good effort, you didn't tell us how tall you thought it was. I would be interested to see how it compares with the trees at Lake Vyrnwy.
Thanks I think the drone measured 215ft to the top. It has an altitude meter and took off from the base of the tree. I was 15-20ft from the very tip as got abit thin 😂

@@ItsanArborist its in the south eastern corner of Eryri National Park. Simon O'Rorke carved 'the hand of Vyrnwy' from the broken remains of one of them, but there are still 10 or so in the grove.
