How to clean golf gloves
Are your golf gloves old, dirty, hard and smelly? You can extend the life of them by using some leather cleaner and leather moisturizer. I used Coach brand, but there are other brands that can be used. This won't make them 'like new' but you can get a few more rounds out of them before buying new ones! Sneaker cleaner or hand soap might do the trick as well. But the moisturizer is the key to getting them in shape to hit the links.

Dishwasher tablets work well or denture cleaning tablets. Bleach is not recommended to clean stainless steel. Will corrode it.

Yeti products would not stain nearly as much if they took the effort to polish the interior during manufacturing.

    Baking soda and a scrubby.

Noooo! Bleach will ruin your Yeti. It will not keep your coffee hot anymore.

The bleach works great to remove stains but over time, the mug lost its effectiveness to keep the coffee warm. As Michael Eck noted, the bleach corroded the stainless steel and the mug was useless. It sure was clean though!

DO NOT DO THIS! This corrodes and destroys the tumbler. It also breaks down then chemical sealant. NEVER use chemical cleaners or wash in dishwasher. Fill with vinegar, set over night. Mix with baking soda and use an tall cup cleaner brush. Use the vinegar and baking soda paste with the brush to clean the remaining residue.

I use a generic version of that cleaner in my plastic coffe grounds drip basket. I never thought about using it on this old yeti cup. But I see comments advising against it. ...... alas

That's some great results! I never thought that bleach would be that effective with coffee/tea stains. I'm using this method when I have to clean metal projects while I'm tinkering in the garage. But for stainless steel coffee cups I prefer my method. It's not as fast but there aren't any harsh chemicals involved. Discover how well "Denture Cleaning Tablets" work! We put 4 tablets into a stainless steel cup as nasty as the one you've shown over night and looked as clean and brite as the cup in your video. And because we weren't using harsh chemicals a quick rinse and we were back to our hot drinks. Did the same thing to our stainless steel thermal carafe using 8 tablets and sitting over night. It was literally that easy with no scrubbing. And we just discovered it about 2 weeks ago wondering if its a RUclips thing yet? That's all folks and thanks for putting this up!

You can buy leather products at Walmart in the shoe section for cheap! I use Kiwi saddle soap, Kiwi saddle lotion and a leather brush also from Kiwi

Someone did not read what not to use on a stainless steel item.

  • @eckmichael

Bleach corrodes stainless steel and should never be used as a cleaner for it. Yeti specifically instructs against using bleach on their Rambler in the care guide.
