I know this is an older video but I have a 05lly. Purchased a fpr from Lincoln diesel and installed it the right way same way you did it only I used motor oil instead of anti seize. Never have a surge at idle but at 169-174 coolant temp I have a lope. The hotter it gets the less it does it. Kinda surges sometimes tho. No air in the fuel have a airdog and truck runs ok seems a little low on power also new injectors. Could it be the fuel hoses to the cp3 being old a dry rotted?

I just did this to my truck because I had only panel HVAC. After I did this I had a mix of floor and mostly defrost to get the defrost off and only floor and back again. I looked in the floor vent from the drivers side and took a large screwdriver and pushed up the flap. I think it resets the blend door because it now opens and closes probably for now.

Do you have to adjust the parking brakes inside the rotor?
I have the brace but I've never once heard of anyone cracking their rear diff or the bolts without it. You have the play when you installed it because you didn't loosen the 4 diff mounting bolts as the direction say to do. Once you do this the brace will have no play whatsoever when installed and you tighten up the diff bolts again afterwards.

@@fullthrottlehq1645 Because everyone in the world told me it was a must have when I bought the machine because I ride hard (lots of air). Cecco makes a killing selling "piece of mind" hardware, but ultimately stuff you don't need on late model Sportsmans.
@newpylong well, fortunately, "lots of air" doesn't create that kind of failure. The failure is caused by extreme articulation (potentially rock crawling) when the machine is flexing at maximum. Therefore, the ears on the tab can break. But to each their own.
@@fullthrottlehq1645 If the rider actually keeps their sway bar on, I don't see how the quad could articulate enough to do what you describe and that's not the reason those I know install the rear diff brace. But looking at the design from a 1,000 foot view, it's easy to see how it could be damaged under several scenarios, including the one I mentioned. If you have the bottom half of the frame and the top half essentially resting on the diff, and you have 800 lbs leaving the earth and coming back down. Think about it... that said, as I mentioned I've yet to hear about one cracking or any other damage. Someone perhaps had this happen at one time and the hysteria started. Can Am has a similar thing going on in the Outlander where their receiver hitch is actually mounted directly to the rear diff, and it's a 2" receiver... anyone I know puts a brace on them who does heavy pulling. Not sure if one has ever broke though.

It won't move because it's a damn POLARIS! GET rid of it! Polaris stands for P-oor O-ld L-ooser A-in't R-iding I-t S-unday! Polaris ain't nothing but trash.. I know I have to work on them all the time and they never ever ever run right even after u fix them.. I live right here next to mossy old adventure atv in west point, ms and they sale that garbage. They told me to give them a price per hr what I charge to work on them and I told them I ain't even trying to work on all those 4 wheelers stacked outside their shop yall sold that garbage then yall can fix it yourself... so many Polaris atv's out by their shop u have to turn sideways and squeeze between them to get to the shop door! The only way I would own one is if someone gave me a brand new one free of charge.. and when it started to mess up any I would take it to the city dump and leave it there... I hate polaris

My 99 scrambler 4x4 with awd off, it has 400 original miles and I thought the breaks engaged on the 2nd ride after replacing, chain, sprocket, rear bearings and axle and all pads and front calipers… but i couldn’t find a problem so I took belt off and it was out of spec. I put new belt on and now i rode about 1 mile and it felt like belt was slipping, so I turned around and as I got in driveway (dirt) the rear wheels felt like they were locking up. Now I can’t move it cuz it squeals like a mfkr and it feels like rear breaks are stuck and this is in N. Idk WTH it is man
It's squealing because the belt is slipping trying to turn the secondary clutch.. I would get rid of it.. Polaris ain't worth af.. I work on those mf all the time and I promise it never gets any better only worse... think about it... 400 miles and you done had to do all that work to it... wait until u drive it about 1500 miles and things really start to mess up

Not a very mechanical type guy. Just dangerous enough. lol. I think mine just broke. It was freezing temps and I tried turning the switch and not sure if it was stuck because of the cold. Anyway to do a video on pulling the dash apart to that point in your video to do the hack? Thanks
It's very simple. It's 4 bolts to take out the bezel behind the cup holders. And then 2 more screws holding the housing around your radio. Pop the housing off, and then u have full access

Same issue with my 2003. Pulled the dash and added all new motors and most of the doors (1 requires complete removal of the whole air box) with the ones with a metal end. Less than a year no defrost. It’s already hard enough for these trucks to defrost the windows. This is one of the biggest flaws of these trucks and it’s a really bad design flaw that affects the safety of these trucks. I’ve been in weather with blistering hot air in the cab and my windshield freezing over. When I can get some downtime and a backup for this truck I’m pulling the dash again and getting the full metal doors and new evaporator core and heater core while it’s out with a new dash. 340k miles and the engine seems almost brand new but dang does Dodge make a truck that doesn’t match the drivetrain quality.
Your absolutely right! It can be frustrating. I love my truck but I wouldn't as much give the drivetrain credit, we all know how flawless these transmissions are (sarcasm). I'd be leaning towards saying when will dodge build a product that can keep up with their powertrain!
Check out Blend door USA. That's the only company I could find that makes that particular door. I think it's called the panel/floor door. And they are all aluminum

I just did this and it just disables the panel HVAC. You will still have floor heat
