@@islander5284 haha thanks! I’m flattered. I’m following you now haha
Love what you have done to her. I've just started my mustang 565 rebuild looking to very similar to what you have done. How did u make your hatch cover?
Thanks Hatch for the live bait tank i just router around and cut a fibreglass lid off the old engine well. The others are just eBay ones
@@islander5284 Also how high is the new transom hight where the engine mounts
@@seanclarke7451 20 inches transom
Reminds me so much of my project although yours is so much more of a restoration, mine was more of a get it on the water quick and safe! I bet this boat will rip and Shea gonna be a head turner! What's size and motor are you going with?
Only a small boat only rated 90hp can’t wait to get it finish
@@islander5284 not if you looked at my channel or not but very similar project boat. Minus the fibergalssing... I put a 90hp mercy 2 stroke tower of power... ita awesome
Yeah nice boat
VERY CLEAN WORK! I DUNNO MUCH BUT I DO KNOW GOOD WORK WHEN I SEE IT! AWESOME! Where you located?
This is my first ever boat project In NSW Australia

@@islander5284 you've done an amazing job! How do you know what to do mate? I have a savage escort that needs a new transom I haven't the slightest idea where to start or what I need to get it all done.
@@geoffstein3896 i saw you post on fb earlier i think am i right ? You up port Stephen’s ? I’m no boat builder or shipwright i think it can be fixed
@@islander5284 yeah mate, I did post something earlier on my wife's Facebook account. You think it can be fixed the way it is? I need to be able to complete it the way it is now, I cannot go through the inside now because of what I have done to it. You've done such a good job mate it looks as though you had done it before.
@@geoffstein3896 i will try send you a message on messenger see if we can help 🤞🏽
