You know, as a sidenote, its interesting to see how HBO was transitioning in terms of its presentation. It used its early to mid 90s introduction along with it's updated early 2000s graphics.

This fight had echoes of the Lyle Foreman fight from 76, but not as dramatic. Lyle had this tendency to lean back when his opponent punched-for television, that makes it look like his opponent nailed him. But clearly the ringside judges could see all of LeDeoux’s misses. Like Cossell’s comment: “Larry Holmes could put these two guys in his pocket.”
