It seems like the biggest grab this game has is that you can get out of your pilot's seat and walk around....so cool that it's worth the $75 price tag I saw on the website..not.

+Aimless Dick'N Time So I went through all the steps and when I load up StarCItizen.exe in the bin64 folder in the Star Citizen TEST folder, the game loads up but I can't see anything on screen. I can hear all the little sounds it makes when the mouse hovers over the menu. But when I ALT+TAB and then come back after doing the cheatengine stuff, I can the screen but it flickers and I can't see the mouse. However I can still hear the sounds when the mouse moves over the menu. edit: it works, but I have to guess where the mouse is to get it started.

+Casey Pettus People are having this issue on the real PTU as well. If you take a look at the subreddit or on the RSI forum, you may be able to find a fix. I wish I could help more!

+Aimless Dick'N Time I've tried numerous times. I've also downloaded through SC launcher and the one linked in your description and still get errors. Its only when I rename the maps in DFM when the error starts. I dont get it if I just play the normal maps like dying star and broken moon

+Forge Jaguar This is strange. I know sometimes the enemy AI will spawn in and not move about, but it happens maybe 20% of the time for me.... Something fun I have tried would be to board one of their ships and see if you can fly it about.

+Mike SOMDOW Think of it as an early unexpected present! But I understand. What graphics errors are you having? Last night after I updated to G, one space station's colour wasn't loaded and it was just a bright white. Still very playable though.

+Aimless Dick'N Time well i just tried it and um, when it loads, i mean i SEE the station but it loads me in a hornet INSIDE the station. The screen is going crazy, all the icons are going crazy, the AI keeps saying "landing/take off" (whatever it is she repeatedly keeps saying) and after about a minute or two, ship explodes. I hit X to respawn and it repeats the process all over again. If i want to try another version, or "update to G", do i have to re-download everything over again?

+Aimless Dick'N Time I went to G and it worked. a few minor bugs but it worked. the controller was messed up. I wanted to hook up my flight stick but meh lol. Not yet. Other than that, it worked but i couldnt fly my connie. Just had access to Cutlass black, and um, one of the hornets i think.

+stcaillou There is a new G update just now! I found a reddit post on how to easily update the TEST files to the new version, but I am at work and haven't tested it yet. Maybe I will do a quick video showing how to do it so we don't have to constantly update ALL our files in the sc.txt.

I will check that.

+scientologist No there is no way to save progress. As this is just a testing ground for the real Universe when it is released, all the saving of progress would be done server side. I don't believe the players with real access to the PTU have their progress saved as well.

+x_thecrabshack_x Check out the original post on the StarCitizen Subreddit. I have the link at the bottom of my description above. The original creator of the tool said he was going to create a new tool that would allow you to change the drive. I am not sure if he did make a new tool or not though. Another thing you can do is download portions, so a few of the links from the pastebin at a time. Once they are downloaded, copy them to the drive you want it on. And then download a couple more of the files, etc. It will be a little slower this way, but at least it will get you going!
