This breed is just the cutest! Next year, imma try to attend to contact some breeders and hope that i have any kind of chance to get one puppy. I would love to educate it to a visitors dog (theres something called the "Malteser" oragnisation here in germany and they hire people with these trained dogs, so i can visit old or handicapped people at all ages in school, therapy, retirement homes etc. and just make their life a bite more joyful by letting them play with my dog, cuddle it, taking a walk while talking etc.). All non paid of course. I would just like to do it bc i basically have the time for it as an freelance artist and im looking for some kind of spending my time that would bring me joy. And i think seeing other people smile bc of this fluff dog would bring me so much joy! My boyfriend just started his education as a police officer and spends many time at the academy now, so besides our Skink im pretty much all alone at home, just drawing stuff and sometimes going to my part time job at a supermarket. We dont have any money issues, tho im afraid the bigges No point the breeder could have is that we live in a small flat :/ Like, i wouldn't mind taking the dog out as much as possible, since its already a part of being a visitors dog, but yeh... Thats the biggest thing im afraid of^^ Or that im too small to handle a big dog like this? Bc im a woman thats not very strong, maybe that would be a no point too? Well we will see^^ One lifegoal of mine will still be owning one of these dogs and educate them to a visitors dog. Maybe i have luck the next few years or i'll have to wait till i look a little bit older, tho im 25 already. Or maybe im just overthinking too much idk^^ I never attempted to get a dog from a breeder, i just once adopted a little jackrussel mix and a cat from the shelter when i was about 12 years old^^ And they were both pretty old :') But anyways, your videos give me so much joy, just seeing these fluffballs in action and making other people happy, no matter where they go! <3

Your dogs are beautiful and obviously very loved. My OES used to like riding in the car between the seats. She wore a seat belt as in a crash she would have been thrown from the car breaking the neck of the driver or passenger on the way. It may be wise to invest in two seat belts if they are not contained in a properly built dog area. My present dog has a proper dog area as we have an Audi estate car with the Audi dog carrier bars etc. Hope you aren't offended by my comment and give my suggestion some thought. Take care. Best companion dog and quite a lover of all creation. I like the standard AKC full coat with docked tail, that is true OES and after breeding and owning for a few decades, the dog loves the full coat over the cut down.

I grew up with a pure white Old English Sheepdog...her name was Brutus (Yes, that was her real name. And she wouldn't answer to anything else). Lol! She was my best friend and she lived to be 17 years old. I got her when I was 2 years old. She was comically silly, intelligent, and mischievous...her and I used to get into trouble together often, and she was highly protective of me and would talk back to my mom when she fussed (just like I did, lol!). If you're looking for a great dog...get this one! I guarantee you'll love this dog. 🐶

This might sound stupid, but watching this video made me cry. My.childhood dog, Squishy was an old english sheepdog. She died two or three years ago, but to me she was family, and my sister. When i was born, she was there, when I was little she was there. The smallest things about this breed makes me cry, because I remember her. From the way the little tail wags, to their fluffy noses. I love this breed but don't think I would ever be able to look at one, or pet one without balling my eyes out, reminder this is two or three years after her death. There is no moving on.

There is simply no better family dog than the OES. Just a wonderful breed. Had one for 11 years and I miss him every day. He was my young daughter’s constant companion and protector. The ultimate nanny.
