Which cam you used most
@@vedananashok this one was almost entirely R5C in 8k raw
This is the sweetest thing I’ve seen❤ simply perfect!
@@minidopopo8478 🥹❤️
This is so sigma (Andrew)
@@Jedi_Maz I literally had to look up what Sigma meant because I guess I’m old haha. Thank you!!
Do you fly the Komodo on a gimbal as well or do you use another body for that?
For this one I swapped between gimbal and handheld with the same Komodo. Ideally, I would have another Komodo body, but it’s just $$$ haha. I have everything on quick releases so the swap is pretty easy.
@@truegrainfilms I can't imagine balancing a Komodo on a gimbal with battery and focus considerations. What lens did you use?
@@edwink0 ya it’s tough for sure. I had to do a lot of research to get everything configured to be the lightest it can possibly be. Part of that is the lenses. Im using the Laowa Argus 25mm and 33mm 0.95. On the gimbal I’m primarily using the 33mm too, so I almost never have to rebalance.
@@truegrainfilms Well done. Your work is supremely clean and beautiful. Amazing given such a challenging set-up. Do you think you'll continue using the Komodo given the challenges?
@@edwink0 thanks my man! I am continuing to use Komodo as A cam on all future weddings that are not solo shoots. It is absolutely worth the effort, because the way I see it, it’s momentary pain. Better to put in extra effort on the wedding day than extra effort in post trying to make things look good. The results continue to blow me away. And honestly, as a filmmaker, I just like shooting on the Komodo lol. Pretty much every camera out there can get the job done, but the Komodo has that extra depth you can’t quite put your finger on, and to me, makes everything feel truly like cinema. It sounds dramatic, but this camera has literally changed my life 😂.
One of the best wedding films I’ve ever seen. Very well done 👍🏻
Thank you brother!
amazing work !!
From one wedding videographer to another, very impressive and beautiful work. It's refreshing to see people still creating art in the industry. Out of curiosity, how many videographers at the event and was it edited internally?
@@edwink0 Thank you so much! There’s definitely a lot of work that goes into these types of films, but it’s extremely rewarding. For this one, there were two videographers, and all the editing was done internally (myself). I knew the film had a lot of potential so I purposely did not hand it off to someone else haha.
Fucking epic work my friend! Subbed
@@kevin-haggerty thank you my man! Appreciate the sub 🙂
Since i cannot see the difference between r5c and komodo, my question is, why not two r5c?
Good question. I would agree, it’s hard to tell the difference on RUclips. But when I’m in Davinci, there is a huge difference in my eyes. The color depth is on another level. Also the global shutter for the reception/dancing is incredible. Still using the R5C quite a bit though on other weddings, for practical reasons. Hard to shoot with a zoom lens on my Komodo.
Oh my goodness, your film is amazing. Great works!
@@tindoox thank you so much!
