Your Laracon EU talk was way better tbh (ngl).
I appreciate your feedback! Did you enjoy it? 😊
Thanks for the talk... Is the repo public? If so, can you share the link to it
Glad you enjoyed it. The repo is here: bitbucket.org/xelonvdc/laravel/
Wow subscribed. I've been using nova for many years. And to be fair, it is hard to customise, js output is too big, and as you say, not testable...
Thanks for the sub! I totally agree with you, but the Laravel Team now hired dedicated people to the Nova Project to make it more elegant for future releases. Let's see how it goes. 😊✌️
Philipp this talk is awesome! Not only is the content amazing and well explained, but the pirate metaphors are just toooo good!
Thanks a lot, @theneverything! That really motivates one to continue to do some more t(r)opical talks!
Glad you like it Silvan. Philipp is a really great speaker. 😊✨
Awesome learning and working
Glad you liked it. ❤️
Why is the default link "localhost/home/IMG_2089.JPG" Does not "127.0.0.1:8000/home/IMG_2089.JPG" contain the link "localhost" how can I edit it to the correct IP?
I need a kubernetes / Laravel dev
Wish you the best. Other than that what did you like about the talk? ☺️
@@laravel-switzerland-meetup Just very fascinating tech here, scaling and all the benefits of kubernetes
Nice bro..
Glad you enjoyed it. ☺️
Awesome, can you add uuid and seo field
Great you liked it. You can ask Yves on X or add an issue on GitHub. 👍
Very cool talk Yves! Congrats on your first package. I hope I can release a package in the future.
I hope so too Silvan. You can do it. 💪
Wouah Philipp, excellent talk ! thanks a lot 🤩.
Yeah it was incredible. Thanks for watching Jan. 🫶
I’m amazed that such an enterprise application team would risk using such bleeding edge tools and unverified tools like nova (which sucks) 😂 rather than going for a safer route....
Other than that. How did you like it? 😊
Great talk. I oddly enough picked up WordPress after like 5+ years of Laravel development. The DX definitely ain't the best and my brain ain't really wired for functional programming. But it remains the best free open-source CMS out there imo. Would be really awesome if we had something like WordPress and WooCommerce for Laravel.
Philipp this talk is sooooo coool! Love it
Glad you enjoyed it Silvan. Philipp did a fantastic job. A true digital alchemist. 🧙♂️⚗️
thank you for sharing!
My pleasure! 😇
Yay! Love the energy!
Me too!! Philipp is a true digital alchemist. ⚗️
Really great talk, Sandro. The `why-not` command is a real game changer! 💪
Thanks
You’re welcome buddy. 🙏
Thanks Stephan!
Glad you liked it. 😊
Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it. 😊✌️
Very nice🐎
Thank you! 😊
lets discuss
Thanks for the reply. What do you want to discuss? 😊
06:38, I learned about Array Shape #TIL, but I still prefer DTOs over it. Great talk!
Thank you Daryl. Glad you liked it. 😊🤝
Thank you Ruslan!
You’re welcome Marius. Glad it was helpful for you. 🤝
Awesome stuff!
Thank you Marco. Glad you enjoyed it. 😊
Nice hoodie !🤩
Thank you Jan. It’s really beautiful. Big shoutout to Sascha for organising it. 🤝🥰
Damn you for the Rick Roll 😂
Haha, Marco!. 🤣 Got you there. 😉
Great talk, but I would have loved to seen some more complex examples, for e.g. how can index help when you have to use joins, what about functional indexes etc...
Thank you. Kai did a fantastic introduction talk to database indexing. Planet Scale does offer more in depth courses. Check it out here: planetscale.com/learn/courses/mysql-for-developers/introduction/course-introduction Hope this can help you out. 🙏
Awesome video, very useful
Glad you liked it. Kai is an absolute a pro in explaining complex topics. 🙏
I have upgraded to livewire 3 from livewire 2. having a lot of livewire component. Want to use `liveiwre/volt`. But getting error in regular livewire page while adding `App\Providers\VoltServiceProvider::class` in `config/app.php` `providers` array. Normal error like `Undefined variable`. Despite being variable defined. for Example: In a blade file I assigned a variable `$hello = 'world'`. In very next line I am printing `echo $hello`. Output `undefined variable $hello`. just after adding `App\Providers\VoltServiceProvider::class` class. If I comment/delete this provider from provider array everything working as expected
Can you provide a GitHub repository to the problem? Afterwards I can look deeper into the problem. Thank you for your time. 😊🫶 Did you surround the echo statement with a @volt and @endvolt directive?
@@laravel-switzerland-meetup just simple echo $variablename. echo just an example. no variable work. It's our company repo. project belongs to a fintech company. It would be really good for you to understand the code if I could give repo access to you. Thanks for your helpful intention
Man I have been in development since 2015, just memorized some rules about indexes, but never understood until I watched this video. Thank you very much for explaining like I am 5 years old.
Glad you liked it. Kai has a real gift to explain complex things. 😊
What a great talk Yves and a very simple and beautiful solution too.
It really is, and the name "Lochness CMS" is awesome. 😉
nice talk
Thank you, Adrian 😊
Really enjoyed this video. Came up after another video and watched the whole thing, extremely interesting talk. Thanks
Awesome. Really glad you liked it, Chris. Kai is a great educator. 🤓
Great video. Shared.
Thanks for that! 😊
Is there slides pdf for this ?
Unfortunately no slides are provided. Other than that how‘d you like the talk?
@@laravel-switzerland-meetup Loved it ! Really insightful, especially the composite index part. Also really liked the visuals that made it lot more easy to understand those concepts :)
Insanely educational. Just wow. Not sure I’ve learnt so much about databases so quickly.
Glad you liked it. 😊
Very nice tool!!!
Thank you. Ray is really awesome. 😊
love your content good luck dear
Thank you 😊
Hey Ruslan ! nice !!
Thank you Jan ☺
Great job ! Thanks a lot Sandro 🙂
Yeah Sandro did a fantastic job. His Tips & Tricks at the end are really valuable. Using the scripts section in your composor file is a genius move. 😎
Excellent talk with a very helpful real example! You got the balance just right between keeping it short but also going deep enough to show the power of the package. And I liked that you took an example written with the Http facade and refactored it step-by-step to Saloon, instead of starting from scratch and building out a Saloon example. Well done and thanks! 👍
Thank you 😊
It is crazy how far has October came. Kudos to developers!
This deserves so much more views :D
That's true. Kai his knowledge about databases is insane. Just 🔥
Who use still PHP in this modern World? I think it is outdated if I u look on other languages (not just the syntax looks so ugly)
I really love to use PHP. You can get so much stuff done with it in really short time. 😍 See this: ruclips.net/video/PXx9_FFZi8A/видео.html
@@laravel-switzerland-meetup for fast developing is python the better language. For Business Java, Kotlin, C# or something else
I have a question, livewire is good for bigdata maybe you have some insight, thanks
I did not run into any problems so far. It's a different approach on building smooth web applications. I would recommend trying it out for a day and see if it can fit your requirements. 😇
Did you have any chance to try Livewire out? In my projects it works like a charm and is robust. 😊
