Got out for my 2nd manual flight today! I still don't have M Mode Altitude Limit turned off, so I can't flip it upside down yet but I may turn it off for my next flight.

edit, I just noticed, I updated the drone right before this flight and it reset all my settings. So the drone footage is not great quality unfortunately, it was in 1080p. All videos moving forward will of course be 4k! After crashing my first A2 into a mountain, I decided to immediately order the RC3 and learn to fly manual. LaRue Performance takes on Buckeye Drags @ Arizona Cycle Park. @sxsbeast YXZ built by Larue took home the W in the drag racing event, and their Compound Turbo Pro R took home the W in the long jump event.
Googles 3 and RC 3 are now compatible with DJI 03 Units. So you can built your own drone with DJI 03 Air unit for VTX/Video.

Want to know a funny thing as well? the goggles 2 are compatible with the 04 air unit while the goggles 3 aren't backwards compatible. Check the website yourself, Goggles 2 compatible with Avata 2 and Mini 4 pro, both of which are using o4, while also being compatible with 03 air units. Unless there's an update soon, and really soon, I'm seriously thinking of returning my goggles 3 and remote 3 and picking up the last gen. Idk why DJI did this to themselves, literally no point in getting the goggles 3 at all in this case, they are by compatibility standpoint completely worthless.
Yup! It’s so frustrating! I’m probably going to just buy a pair of goggles 2 and a boxer remote for my next drone and I’ll just sell the goggles 2 if/when they make goggles 3 compatible with the 03 transmission system.
then why buy the avata 2 if you want to fly a different drone ? should of bought the other drone instead , this video makes no sense
I want multiple drones, which is the case for many FPV flyers..
For me the best option is the Mini 3 (not the PRO) because I need the drone to inspect the farm, and so it must be able to stay in the air the longest. By the way, can anybody confirm that the Mini 3 is the one with max capacity for staying in the air out of all DJI drones?
Wow I had no idea the Mini 3 had a 51 minute flight time! Thats amazing. Looks like that is the longest flight time aside from the DJI Matrice 350 RTX with 55 minutes.
It's a fair point. I ordered Avata 2 some days ago. Still have to learn to fly. I think if I were in your situation I might just sell it again. Perhaps there'll be a patch soon that makes the gear more compatible. I'm no expert, but I think the goggles are some of the best on the market right now? Just need compability.
@@avienated yes, they’re definitely some of the best if not the best. I really enjoy the goggles and the Avata 2. I sure hope DJI makes them compatible with the 03 transmission system. I thought about selling it, but I like it too much 😂. It’s super easy to travel with because it’s so small. So I’m going to keep it and just buy another pair of goggles and another remote. I’ll just sell the goggles if they make everything compatible.

EXACT same thing for me also. I fly my avata 2 with the motion controller but I want more. Now I've narrowed it down to just buying the Geprc mark 5 bnf but I need goggles and a controller also. 🥲

@@HendrixVisuals haha good then sounds like I'm on the right track! It was between that and the iflight nazgul v5. I've spent the last 4 days watching videos on them lol. Now to just find someone selling the goggles and controller 😬
@@zack5614that’s so funny, that’s the two I’ve been looking at too. Apparently the Iflights have reports of catching fire and no one has anything bad to say about the geprc’s

@@HendrixVisuals I checked it out, it seems incredibly sensitive, did you set up the controller other than the default?, I'm using the RC Controller
@@adiemaskit is very sensitive. I didn’t change any of the settings I just dealt with it. It seems all the sim’s are like that.

Have a buddy with a supercharged Troy Lee running direct injection that could be competitive in this. Not sure what the rules are but his pops wheelies when he runs paddles lol.
The Pro R makes 804whp, it was turned down to around 600whp for these races
