Christian Responses to Nazism and the Holocaust
For sure early Christians suffered, many were killed, Bible burned but the gospel is still spreading up to door steps.Whether Islamic, Christian,
Thanks for the great video! Very engaging. You should know the audio dropped a handful of times <3
Thank you Dr. Baguette!
Dr. Bequette are you going to finish off the other Philosophy lectures? or send me the book your reading from I an understanding your lectures, they are short and informative.
mirror this with today to see 2050-2080
Fake shit
Thank you, Dr. Bequette, from a 58 years old Chinaman in Hong Kong. I enjoyed your video and learned a lot. Perhaps RUclips knows I’m reading E. H. Carr’s What Is History and thus recommends your channel; I’m grateful. I’m ashamed to say that I had a Ph.D. in history years ago, but never took a historiography class. Your lecture fills a lacuna, to borrow a word from Carr, in my study. I’m looking forward to more uploading from you.
The malign influence of the Church can be seen all across France to this day. There are churches and cathedrals in every town and city. No big surprize they were a major contributor to the discontent that lead to the revolution. I would like to see global dechristianization today (and de-all religions actually).
John Locke was a spiritually rebellious man. He preached a false doctrine in opposition to The One True Faith.
Would you agree that King Louis XVI's decision, to under represent the commoners and heap the tax burden on them, was very unwise?
I believe John Locke was also a Freemason.
Wow this seems to mirror the yellow vests....those that don’t study history are doomed to repeat it....pretty sad....
Great lecture. Strait forward and easy to follow. Thanks!
Simple but profound lecture.
France’s lack of spirituality has made it a moral wasteland today with a serious problem of Islamists and jihadis to fill the void of devotion the nation once had. Other monarchies in Europe haven’t done a great job of defending their realms from the secularist cancer though.
yes because the church is so full of morality with it's rampant pedophilia
The Church didn’t deserve to be persecuted but it must take responsibility for the corruption and immorality it had in France which eventually lead to the catastrophe of the French Revolution
@@jlevans1985 i'm making a pretty good guess that pedophiles exist all over the place and in all religions. why the entire focus is on the catholic church is interesting. why does the media do that? anyway, there actually are real priests who devote themselves to their vocations and would never hurt anyone, especially a child! but then there are the peds, who simply dress up as priests. some are set-up infiltrators too, which is also very interesting. it's yet another power structure that another power structure is trying to take down. power trips all over the place too.
lovveeeessss iiiitttttt
Thank you, Smiley!!
