Using setpos and setang to get consistent 45 degree throws and 0 degree viewing angles. Commands bound to keyboard so I didn't accidentally move the mouse. Tested on the unusual itemtest map on a windows listen server. If you're thinking someone already did this test, yes sigsegv did but some people at the wiki thought it got fixed. Sped up section left in to show he admits to it in chat. Called a vote after calling him out that failed, called another vote after clip ended that passed. Mostly left in the later parts bc I forgot to do status until later.

If you craft hats outside the game (jenger's item manager or TF2-node) you can create a "message bomb" in chat when you accept the items during a match. I've been crafting hats to have one of each 599 craft hats crafted by myself so figured I'd do this under the name "hat" as an "epic tf2 moment!!1!" for a few players. LAW discord voice cameo

Grizzled vet halo going for market gardens (and ~30s of spectate not recorded) made me decently convinced he was just really experienced but the score diff made me want to record a demo and look back later anyway. Kind of interesting the cheat goes for feet shots to launch people as seen in the first clip. I think the first clip stands on its own but included the 2nd one even though the jittery...

This demo was originally to show another person in that lobby cheating (they were partied, the gaby person) but they ended up going medic and didn't really do much that I caught. Funny enough is we both called votes on each other multiple times but the team was too idle to kick either of us.

For those unaware, the command to record a demo and immediately stop - "record {name}; stop" - will cause cloaked spies to flicker briefly. This is a byproduct of how starting a demo resyncs your client with the server, a useful command when you have a large lag spike or momentary disconnect that creates invisible players. Opening up the class selection menu while waiting for respawn helps extend the "freeze time" tho I think it only reaches to 9 seconds so you have to manually open up each time the timer ticks near 0

What do those commands do?
I know that ExtendFreeze was patched because of Zombie Infection, and I understand that it was suppose to be used against cheaters. However, I can't help but notice that some MVM channels complained about it, because they cannot use it there. You effectively go idle there after you die, so perhaps they eventually saw it as a way to intentionally take up space without actually playing. Granted, there is still the problem of the lack of soft-bans there, and players just retrying to go into spectator team anyways. Valve cannot play favoritism just because people used it for, "Good," yet a lot of stuff like this is abused for the bad. Maybe it wasn't widespread for the bad, but I'm not going to pretend it was only used for noble reasons.
I think maybe you are confusing the fix of not being able to kick spectators with this, either that or those mvm channels are stupid. If someone's goal is to idle they can pick a class and sit in spawn or like you mentioned, not pick a class and idle in spectator. As mentioned in the vid, removing the malicious spectate enemies is fine like the patch notes implied, killing the command totally is handing cheaters another win.
@@jh34 I assure you I am not confusing the spectator immunity, but I'm suggesting that the TF-Team must have felt extending your respawn is another form of effectively short-handing others. Yes in Causal it won't make much of a difference. However, with the associated effects in other modes, and potential MVM idle grief; then it raises some eyebrows that they felt worth axing entirety. Cheaters already know when people are spectating them, and surely they got annoyed if eyes were on them the whole time even. Overall it is sad, but again; the TF-Team isn't changing things under the assumption it gives one group, "the win." Maybe that they could have been much more transparent on removing it entirely, but my speculation of them doing it isn't far-fetched. If that's the case; we shouldn't have MVM fixes, because it was used for, "noble," purposes of griefing cheaters. Neither group really wins, and isn't like the playerbase is kick happy for any reason whatsoever.
