My dad who's been playing WoW for around 16 years once had a GM run a dungeon with him because he did it so fast it wasn't allowing a boss or something to even spawn and he got told that he needed to slow the hell down. Unfortunately he didn't get a screenshot, cool though! :P

I met a GM once hanging out in the Tavern in Kharashire. He was just sitting there eating piles and piles of blood sausage. When I asked him what he was doing he teleported me to GM island and spawned a bunch of dancing hula girls and said to pick one to be my wife. Then he spawned a priest to marry us and the rest of the hula girls became the bridal party. Then he teleported us all to the Inn in Stormmar to consummate the marriage. The GM stood and demanded we copulate in front of him, to which I happily obliged. One we were all done, he sped up the time on the server by 9 months and spawned triplets and said my life is ruined because now I have to take care of children instead of being an adventurer. Then he spawned everyone in the server to come see the babies and everyone clapped at exactly the same time, which crashed the server. When it came back online the GM was gone but I had a mail message which included Tier 2 Wizard gear that he wanted me to have as an apology for messing with me. I miss those days.

GM was in SW once, I just asked if I could be teleported somewhere so he sent me to just outside Org, I was like lvl 12 and got instantly destroyed by the guards, still I got a laugh out of it

I would do it. I’d be one of those cool GMs and show myself here and there, or spawn someone at maximum height so they fall into water and be like shhhh. I once asked a GM to do something cool, and that’s what he did, spawned me as high as I could go near Darnassus. One of my favorite old vanilla memories

i was in a pvp match of warsong gulch back in the day, was playing with my bro and friend of ours shows up on the horde side in our match so we would wave when we would run by her Match ends and i zone out, my brother and our friends did not. my brother calls me over to look at his screen as his and her characters are forced to walk to each other inside the WSG map, then start puking millions of whelplings at each other. wish we had been able to record it. the gm spent a good ten minutes just messing with them then revealed himself, waved, asked how they knew each other and that was that. Another time i had a gm in Final Fantasy Xi that started hanging out with me anytime i was leveling. he had been called on me a couple of times and we quickly became buddies when he jailed me and i started acting like a master criminal plotting an escape and take over of the kingdom of san'doria lol. Basicly i just goofed off the whole time and explained i got reported for using shout chat to much for a macro i had set up to warn people of Mob trains. we probably spent a year playing that game religiously and trolling bots.

this has happened to me in Barrens chat a long time ago, I was reading these 2 get into it and someone said for them to stop of a GM will see it and then they started mouthing off about the GM saying how its all fake and they don't exist, and then one was like, "yup we totally don't exist" barrens chat got quite and it stayed quite for awhile, it was awesome. also its jus how they slip it in there like "Orly" then people start losing their minds love it

I had a GM come orgrimmar once. I was on a horde pvp guild and the name of the guild would always change because they were basically hooligans. So the name was "mailboxed by squid" because the guild would always go to the main mailbox and afk/camp on top of it and people would get so mad and send tickets to ban people. One day a GM appeared and was levitating 10 feet off the ground with a (skull) as a level. Basically trying to see what was up and all hell broke lose everyone came and was watching and stuff....was cool.
