Great week in Devon staying at the Salcombe Retreat. Peaceful, sunny and with easy access to some great walks and coastal towns. Well worth a visit. There are some really narrow lanes, but generally plenty of passing places, but you may need to do a bit of reversing on occassion. Winterton on Sea is a great place to view the seals and their pups, all from a safe distance (more so for the pups). There were so many seals on the beach, with around 200 new born pups arriving on one of the days we were there. The seals are there all year round but between November and January, with the numbers increasing massively as they haul out onto the beach. Plenty of opportunity to see...

I saw someone perform on glass organ like this in Prague over twenty years ago. He played the same way and was very talented. Now I find out Petr is also from Prague, but I don't think he is the same person, as the other artist was about the same age as my parents and Petr, I think, is closer to my age... Now I'm wondering if they know eachother or if maybe they are even family? 🤔

Kalkan has had a busy year this year which is good to see. Same great food and relaxed atmosphere. Mini 3 Pro is a great addition and suprised me with the quality of the video it produced. Plenty of tech within such a small and lightweight drone.

Images taken March this year when away for a weekend in Norfolk. Still plenty of seals along the beach but numbers now dropping off.
what lens did you use? is it 15-35?
From what I can remember it was my EF 24-105 Mkii F4L.
I will be adding a new video in late November / early December when the pups are born. Like and Subscribe to be notified when ready. 😀
0:55 you nailed it here! That's what I need to train to perfection, that transition from higher level to bottom and smothly. I made one similar in mine

Beautiful images. The last shot was amazing. The texture and and colour in the cloud really jumped out the screen. Was it a screw in variable of using the Ef to RF drop in filter adapter?
Hi, Anthony thanks for the comments. Had a screw on variable ND from Tiffen 77mm. Using the standard EF - RF adapter. Filter works well unless you try to max it out then the colours get a strange dark blue cross. Did also try a photo version time-lapse in the same location, similar conditions but still need to process this. I want to compare the quality between the video and photo time-lapse, more post processing to do with the photos, but it should be better, will upload a video when ready.
R5 Firmware 1.3.0 now installed. Time to get out and about and test the new functions. Have you installed it, what do you think?

Canon r5 , can't find which lens and settings recorded in?? 🤔🤔🤔
Will wait for a few more comments before I let everyone know, lens is a 70-200 f2.8 with a 2x. 4K 60fps.

@@luckynaturerelaxationin8k OK. This was shot using a 1DX MKII and a EF 70-200 MKIII with a 2 x converter, the original one, never upgraded it as doesn't get use that much. Have been contemplating the R5 or R6 but with all the heating and other potential issues, have decided to stick with what I have. Main reason for changing would be the updated autofocus and fully silent mode. Based on the image quality in the video, no real reason to change. Lets see what further firmware can do to both devices and what happens with new devices down the line. All the best.
