Well, the skybox is a box, and before you start to comment that you know, it's an object that should have the camera centered around it, but it is centered around the camera, which causes it to have float imprecisions values. The bigger a float value becomes, the lesser the decimal is because of scientific notation, the skybox is rendered on a plane known as the far plane, the far plane is associated with the near plane, or the nearest and furthest you can see, and the skybox is rendered on the far plane, the skybox is ALWAYS rendered last, so no object appears behind it. It is rendered on the far plane always with as much depth as the far plane so no matter how far you go, you can never reach the edge of the skybox as it's always on the far plane and the far plane is the front edge whereas the near plane is the back edge of the view frustum.
