This song never fails to make me cry. There are 3 songs in kpop that I'm wishing, hoping and praying that the next time I listen to them, I won't cry again. That I won't feel pain again to the lyrics. 1. Bol4 - Youth 2. Jessi - Want to be me 3. Lee Hi - Holo These 3 songs are always my go to songs whenever I want to express how I feel, whenever I don't know how to put into words the feelings I have. And I am always hiding in foreign languages whenever I want to say how I really feel because no one around me understands it unless they are also a kpop fan. And I am always breaking down whenever I listen to these songs. There are also times that I sing along with these songs loud that everyone can hear me but since it's in Korean, no one will know what I'm saying. Because even if I try to tell them in our language, no ears are willing to listen to me. So yeah, I'll just sing it out loud but in different language so that they won't have a choice but to listen to me. My only worry is that, what if I cry in front of them while singing it in front of them? That would be a nightmare for me, that's why I still always compose myself first before singing it out loud, or if my tears are already going down, and if I already feel the emotions building up inside, I would just shut up instantly and keep my composure again. And my number one weapon, I will just smile. A very happy smile that will protect me from everything, and a very good way to hide myself and my feelings. And yes, I am a great pretender. And that is only to protect myself. 😊
