When you do this process, could you have programmed the ORIGINAL (working/programed) remote first? You see I have 1 programmed remote and need to program a 2nd one. The second one is an OEM key that I purchased online that was used and programmed, but according to the seller, the key has been reset electronically so it can be programmed again.

If I have 1 key and want to program only 1 more key, do I have to reprogram both keys (the programmed one and the new one)?

My FOB look beat up, I just want to buy the outer shell and install the existing electronics, where can I buy the shell only?

I followed everything exactly as you did, Now my car says theft deterrent system. The remote works and the car starts but every time I start the car i get that message. I also have the orange light of the car with the lock symbol on my instrument cluster. Any advise. Car is a 2020 camaro.

Common issue with Toyota/Lexus/Subaru. For some reason the immo units don't like used chips. While the chip may indeed show that it's been virginized it simply will not program. Must use a NEW virgin chip. Does not have to be OEM. Aftermarket work as long as it has never been written to. Weird.
