How did you majage to kill a v160?

Yeah, stock twins make that whistle, i though at first when i did my 2j swap that i wasn't getting any oil on the bearing, it starts off at a low pitch.

The Getrag v160/161 make that noise. Its quite normal and you dont have to worry about.

Look up Shimming your Accumulators, the shift was relatively slow, this adds not only life to your Transmission but makes it shift Really fast.. At the cost of comfort shimming the accumulators causes it to shift harder on you but easier on the transmission. Although its not a hard mod to do just takes about 2 to 3 hours at the most.
