Buyer Be Ware! These stairlifts are junk! The seat is made of cheap plastic. The chair pads are like the cheap garden knee pads that can be bought anywhere for a few bucks. I was charged $4800 just for the equipment. The installation was an additional $425. They claim the stairlift will support 440 pounds. Don’t believe it. When I sat on the chair it tilted forward making me feel I would fall forward and out of the chair. The second time I sat in the chair, a bolt broke and I don’t weigh anywhere near 440 pounds. I packed it up and sent it back. Now they want to deduct $1,000 from my refund because we cut the rail to install it. How would we have known it didn’t work if we hadn’t cut the rail and installed it. Don’t make the mistake I did, find someone that stands behind their product. Handicare definitely doesn’t !

This makes sense. I'm showing this to my trauma surgeon. Neither he nor I like the physical therapy I'm now getting. He had to reattach my right leg after an accident and right now I'm getting nowhere trying to walk. This I think I should try. I just watched the very end and realize that you never mention what lifts the carry bar!
