I am a fiddler that enjoys many genres of music, and has a passion for restoring 78rpm records. I am also an avid rockhound who enjoys looking for Lake Superior agates and spending time in Michigan's great outdoors. I hope you enjoy my content!
Reel Medley
Three of my favorite reels I recorded on September 5, 2024. This is take one to keep it authentic.
The reels are: The Hunter's House, The Golden Keyboard, The Galway Rambler

The haunting soulsearching music of this humble genius Soulsearching so inescapable
Coleman was once affectionately described as the flawed genius, genius being the appropriate description What a genius RIP Michael 🙏 🪦

He's awesome!
Thank-you a million for kindly posting this musical genius
Both the great Lad O Beirne and the great Michael Coleman from Co Sligo Ireland 🇮🇪 and both with very close musical and family connections
Both the great Lad O Beirne and the great Michael Coleman himself have made an indelible mark on our great world class music
Oh that's heart renderingly beautiful with splendid exciting variations
Lad O Beirne had both music connections and family connections with the great Michael Coleman himself
So great he was on a par with the great Michael Coleman himself
Oh wow Such a stunning color
The greatest lrish fiddler ever to record and keep our great music alive for generations yet unborn
Great - majestic - perfect music
Coleman was well ahead of his time by up to a century He is universally fondly regarded as the flawed genius

Omg that's a banger
I remember when this was found, wasnt it just east of grand marais? Killa color
Yep, I found this one about 8 miles east of gm. It was in the dry pea gravel, and looked a little like chert when dry.
Oh yes !
Love it! Fair play to you, that's tremendous playing ! And I love the "uploaded on first attempt" approach!
Thank you! I still made sure to practice it a few times beforehand just in case ;)
Superb playing 🙂 Where can we find your album?
Thanks! No album in the works yet, but maybe someday if I can find people to collaborate with.
Omg that candy striper is killa

The flawed genius who ultimately saved our music, He revolutionised and immortalised it and then drank himself to destitution and untimely death Almost heartbreaking Rest in peace Michael
Love Johnny Gorman's in particular
1 wild Irishman 3 Sheehan’s
Just the greatest the true master of lrish fiddle 🎻
❤☘️.
His music was divine
Coleman is still the most discussed lrish traditional musician who ever existed and not surprisingly

Very good ! Who is the fiddler?
Thanks! This is me on the fiddle with piano accompaniment I wrote out.
@@DXWIZ1911 Vous jouez très bien. Please put some more or you're music on RUclips.
Please forgive the hesitant piano accompaniment in the second part of The Blackthorn Stick. I was just getting started as a piano player. I was only about 7 or 8 years old at the time (the early 1950s). Jim O’Beirne
The ultimate

Marvellous Michael Coleman.
Fascinating to hear that from nearly a century ago. Loved it
Glad you enjoyed it! Irish bands of the period were certainly high caliber.
