MLG was so far ahead of its time

I remember playing them on a 2v2 on blood gulch on XBC back in early days. It was my host, they had a high ping rate, and my partner and I never lost. We got destroyed. Spawn murder of the yin yang. This was in the days where HP Darkman was considered the best player in the world.

Great documentary. Personally, I grew up with Halo Reach, so one could argue that Halo was already in its decline at that point in time, but I have nothing but fond memories of playing with friends back in 2012-2014. I do recall chatting with people in MLG lobbies and anytime the Ogres were brought up, it was with the utmost respect. Even then, everyone was still doing the Ogre twitch a decade after it had any impact on your HUD. That's how you know you made an impact on a game.

Halo created MLG. Then MLG went to CoD. A “I saw you first so I win” FPS. Shit made no damn sense at all. A top 16 Halo player would mop the floor with the best CoD player.

The way he discribed halo 1 how his friends from all over the neighborhood would come over and they would LAN, we have a friends house just like that. Its the best memories of my life as a child.

OGRE 1 was such an artist tho man. Like, his gameplay seemed like it was coming from somewhere else. He was so good in 04-06.

How the fuk anyone can have him 2nd best of all time is beyond Me! Thare Quite Clearly Smokin Crack! Ogre 2 was at the Top For 10 Years from 2003 to 2012 when he finished with another National Championship to Make It 5! Lethul was probs at his best for 4 years max! And don’t gets it Twisted! Most Halo 5 fans didn’t even have lethul in the top 3-5 even when he was Good! Halo 1-3 WAS PRIME GOD TIME HALO! And Anyone Playing in this Era Is A HALO GOD! Bhoy do A Miss Watchin MLG HALO! anyone remember Vengeful Sim? That dude played a couple local tourneys but he was the best Matchmaking player of all time, Legit no cheating level 50 I swear. Ligster was good too and Vengeful destroyed em.

we went over to a friend of a friend's house to lan, wiped em 3v3 and the best part was the beetles that lived in my friends tv scattered and undoubtedly infested that fool's house.

dude was legit a nice guy! I was on the final boss teams friend list back in the day! miraculously played them and won online! they were solid dudes!

Anyone else having issues with the currency and teleporters? I really wanted to play with buds but then kept having issues with those 2 things and we couldn't play. Currency never comes up and teleporters get users stuck in.

Random gun locker has to be one of the worst ideas I've ever seen. Any time I try playing this, everyone just pours ALL the money into it trying to get guns. Id take it out but oh wait! The guy copy protected it so no one else can copy and edit the map. Outstanding move.

This has been broken for me for a while now, the points don't accumulate and sometimes it's just broken in general. Is anyone else experiencing this?

I spent so many hours enjoying CE, 2 and 3 by myself online. I was never great but I have some great memories from that era. I'm 42 now and still play Infinite on the weekends and watch Halo videos. I hope the legacy continues. Halo is simply the best shooter ever made.
