How are you doing now? 😊 Hope you can do a update
Thank you for posting! Did you have any dizziness with your migraines? Im hoping this surgery helps that so fed up being dizzy and in pain 😢
Great video! Do you have dizziness? Iv been constantly dizzy off balance and in pain for 11 years now after a concussion it's hell! I tried everything you mentioned and nothing has helped 😢 please keep up these videos they really help
i do struggle with dizziness, although not as frequently as i used to. have you looked into vestibular migraines at all?
I’m in the process now of trying to get approved. I can totally understand the pain and not having any quality of life. I also had to find this on line myself. Thank you for not making me feel crazy!!!😢
you're not crazy!! best of luck with getting approved!
Great yo hear your feedback, how much does it cost approximately? I would like to get it
Hope you're doing butter I had occipital neuralgia and saw a physio who done dry needling which helped out alot check it out if you havent already
Thanks for providing your experience and insight into your occipital nerve decompression surgery. My wife has been having occipital nerve issues for years now. She’s about 6 months out from PRP injections and has been doing better(having more good days than bad days). Nerve decompression has been a consideration, but we’re going to wait and see how the PRP injections go. Again, thanks for posting! Appreciate that you are providing this type of information to others.
you're welcome! i would definitely recommend trying everything else before surgery so it sounds like she's taking all the right steps.
How did they tell that you had a nerve decompression? Was it by mri?
the way i was telling everyone i was getting to see you this month. im soooooo happy i was and you seemed so normal i was just about content omg. I cant wait till the next visit!!
❤❤❤
I've been waiting for this update for a while, i struggled with migraines my entire life, and watching your updates always give me hope, i wish things only get better for you from now on.
thank you so much for watching! hang in there ❤
How are you feeling now and Where did you do the surgery ?
I got both of my surgeries with Dr Janis at OSU Wexner. it has been a long recovery but i am slowly starting to see some improvement
How many parts did u do
How did they figure out the diagnoses to do the surgery. I have been suffering migraines only on my right side from the neck all the way up to my eyes.
my surgeon did nerve blocks to determine which nerves my pain was coming from. it sounds like you might have occipital neuralgia, it’s definitely worth looking into
So happy youre looking at the positive, I hope another alternative comes that can help. I miss you so much
miss u so much omg ♥️♥️
I had the occipital nerve decompression surgery back in September. My migraines were chronic. After having this surgery, I now am at 50% . The surgery was a breeze. Dr only shaved 3 inch long back of my head, and it was not noticeable. Good luck with the surgery! 15:45
thank you for sharing, so glad you are seeing good improvement!
Continuing to lift you up in prayer. I've experienced that 10/10 migraine pain once or twice and I can't imagine what you've been living through. So thankful the throbbing is gone and that the pain is lessened. Praying the surgery goes well, recovery is smooth and relief comes quickly. ❤
thank you for watching and praying! ♥️
Thanks for continuing to share your journey. You are so strong, though I wish you didn't have to be. Best of luck with this next surgery.
thank you for watching!
I imagine you responded well to a nerve block?
yes, my surgeon used nerve blocks to determine candidacy for surgery. if you don't respond to a nerve block, it means your nerves aren't causing the pain.
That’s for sharing your story. I suffer from chronic migraines as well. Are your glasses face fitted and where did you purchase them?
thanks for watching! they are not, they're from warby parker
Hey Kimberly - I wanted you to know that I had sinus surgery, more than 25 years ago. Really it was a game changer. The surgeons did several things, also found a deformity and had to cut bone. I also had migraines from early childhood. It really seems like LESS than what you are going through, but I can tell you that post surgery was the worst pain I've ever felt in my life. Way more than childbirth. Honestly, I prayed for death. But there is hope! Today, I can't even remember the recovery anguish. Life is 100% less painful. You will feel it. Try to take one day at a time. You look so good! Normalcy is just around the corner. Believe it. Praying for you girl <3
thank you for sharing!!
Thanks for sharing your journey! Wishing you less and less pain every day.
thank you for watching!!
I appreciate you sharing your journey through this. I've had chronic migraines since I was a toddler, and even though it's not from nerve pain, it's still nice to be able to relate with someone. Hoping the rest of your recovery goes smoothly and gets better soon! ❤
thank you so much for watching!! wishing you all the best in your migraine journey also ♥️
I'm so thankful you have gotten answers and praying this surgery brings total relief. You are so strong, Kimberly!
thank you so much for watching! <3
