I used to get my Thursday night laughs out of this group these punk acts were th highlight ofy Thursday nights on top of the pops when the punk thing ended I was sad. Because there was nothing to Laugh at anymore punk was comical🇬🇧

How is it some of my heroines are dead? Like Astrud Gilberto and of course Poly. Poly amazing but the group was also fantastic, the sax was a huge difference and unusual. Yes, Germ Free Adolescents vastly underrated and a punk classic Still we have Chrissy and Debbie still going strong,
When I think about it what a stupid name for a programme. But at least with Annie we had some decent punk, this lady is just amazing, we need another programme now showing decent content including old and new
When music moguls got the first cut of a record, they would play it to the doormen in grey suits, known colloquially as the old greys. Any song they could recall and whistle, after having heard it a couple of times, was deemed to have passed the old grey whistle test and was destined to become a popular hit.

I ❤ed Polystyrene, she and X Ray Spex were unique in Punk, their songs were more relatable and understandable, some of the other punk groups were just a screaming din! Their songs were relevant then and in some respects even more relevant today. People were more genuine in the 70s, unlike today, but poor Polystyrene sadly she had emotional/mental health issues and found it difficult to cope with the attention and fame.😢
They were not only out there, X-Ray Spex were VERY good live.

Jak Airport, Paul Dean, Paul B.P. Hurding and Lora Logic (then Rudi Thompson) were an amazing band! Jak Airport passed away in 2004 - but you would never know that because almost everyone here comes to praise and remember only one person in this band. Sad.
X-Ray Spex was an incredible band. A band - a group effort. X-Ray Spex was not just a solo artist singer and songwriter.
